they have recently been beaten in 20 20. They were thrashed by england in ODI tri series in Australia. They were beaten in penultimate Ashes by england too. India thrashed them hard in 2000 series in India , when Ponting didn't manage to cross a duck in the series . he was just hopelessly getting out to Harbhajan. Then India went to Australia and aus couldn't win the test series there even after their umpires were biased.
then also they think they are great and supreme power in cricket.
what are you looking forward now, to see this aussie cricket team down to earth and humbled.

If, in a 5 day cricket test match, the team battling first scores 600 runs all out, how many runs must the second team get in order to avoid a follow-on?

Would i be correct in saying 400 runs because the difference between the two team scores must be 200.

Hi, I have long been interested in Africa having Rhodesian roots and read about the 'Big Five' hunting whenever I can. Whether or not I am pro-or-anti hunting is irrelevant.

I know that hunting some animals is beneficial to the local environment and may benefit the hunter's own community (if they're from foreign fields) in terms of research and education. But what about hunting the Big Five?

Any educated answers are welcome but please don't use this to rant about your own views surrounding the ethics of hunting in general. I am interested specifically in the results of hunting the Big Five. Incidentally, how easy is it for an American or European to go and hunt the 5 these days?

Also, as an aside, is it possible to get hunting rifles these days that have wooden flanks covering the whole barrel, as with the M1 and .303 infantry rifles of ww2? Can you provide a link or name, and what are the pro's/ con's of this design in terms of hunting, if still used?

Thanks!

My 6 year old daughter has just completed a 6 month foundation course of Jeet Kun Do and attained her orange belt on saturday. My wife and i were told she is ready to step up to a 3 year masters class to attain her black belt.Although i am really pleased with her progress and attitude to martial arts the fees for the course seem a little excessive, can someone tell me if i am right or is this about average:

£290 flat fee+36 months@£69 per month.

The school is in Birmingham and she can attend up to 4 classes per week at 45 minutes per class.

You would think this would be an easy decision and go with Ortiz.Although, with the way Youkilis is hitting, and his "gold glove" defense, can you really justify taking him out of the lineup?

I just bought a new Desert Eagle XIX with a nickel finish. I am really proud of it and immediately thought that "it's a shame that it comes with these cheap crap grips" but all the manufacturer and other after market sellers seem to offer is rubber or dark colored wooden grips. For such a popular gun there is surprisingly little in the way of accessories. Does anyone know where I can pick up some nice grips for this gun. Pearl, Ivory, or anything else nice that I haven't thought of, I'm open to anything. Even feel free to plug your shop or site as long as you have my grips.

Okay...okay, first of all - there is a quota system which says that a certain amount of black players have to be in the squad - which basically means..they could be the worst player in the world..but they get into the squad just because of this "quota sytem" - but should politics really be interfering in sport?....and this is not just cricket in south africa..this is the rugby as well - Let's go back to choosing the BEST (and I underline and bold the word 'best') players regardless of their skin colour!!!

I was pretty young when Perreault was in his prime, but was older when Lafontaine played and have a lot of great memories watching him. I can't begin to imagine what he would have been like in the new NHL. Perreault is a Buffalo legend, was great, and played many incredible years for the Sabres. Lafontaine had a few awesome years, but was sidelined with injuries. Both were loved by the fans, but I sometimes wonder if Lafontaine was underrated when compared with the Sabres legends. I know Perreault deserves to be a hall of famer, but I honestly believe Lafontaine was right up at his level. Does Lafontaine not get the credit he deserves because he didn't begin and end his career with buffalo? Is it the number of injuries he had making his career short, or was he simply not as good a player as others in the organization. The same holds true when comparing him with other US born players.

OK everyone....Hines Ward is one of the most consistent wideouts in the game...how many receivers going into 2007 are looking for their 7th straight season of at least 975 yards? Hines Ward is...how many are considered the greatest blocking receiver of his generation, or have gone to 4 straight probowls, or have a Superbowl MVP? Hines Ward does...

BUT...since Pittsburgh is a winning, run-oriented franchise, who usually shuts down the passing attack halfway through the 3rd quarter to bleed the clock, Hines Ward loses 200 or 300 receiving yards each year, that pass-oriented offenses, like the Colts or the Rams receivers, don't lose.

Do you think the Hall Of Fame will REALIZE, that receiving for 900 yards in Pittsburgh, is like receiving for 1,200 in some cities? Plus, Harrison/Wayne/Bruce/Holt/Owens/etc played most of their careers inside, or fairweather towns. Hines has to snag balls in 10 degree snowstorms! Will the Hall realize he's disadvantaged statistically where he plays?

The WWE is so much fun to watch but I can't beieve the amount of people who think it is real. Even the owner adited in his biography it is all scripted out. His daughter is the main writer for Smack Down, and her husband is Triple HHH. It is all entertainment that is why it is so popular becuase the people in it are all playing a part, a roll, an act. I love the WWE but come on people you must know it is all a show!
