Okay...okay, first of all - there is a quota system which says that a certain amount of black players have to be in the squad - which basically means..they could be the worst player in the world..but they get into the squad just because of this "quota sytem" - but should politics really be interfering in sport?....and this is not just cricket in south africa..this is the rugby as well - Let's go back to choosing the BEST (and I underline and bold the word 'best') players regardless of their skin colour!!!

Of course it should be abolished, they should just choose the best players to play on the team. And if it just so happens that most of them are white, so what!

Although they should be picked on merit, the blacks should not be ignored. After all, South Africa has more blacks.
The problem you mentioned is not just in cricket, but also rugby and hockey, and also golf.
There are some good black players in the South African team like Makhaya Ntini, Roger Telemachus, Ashwell Prince and Charles Langerwalt to name a few. They should be given a fair change (Similar to Australia giving chance to Andrew Symonds).
Hope they provide a quality team, with more blacks in the near future.
