His success last year was a product of a soft schedule. This year they have a tougher schedule and pretty much every team in the AFC with the exception of the Dolphins and Bills along with the Jets has improved. Now you are seeing this team under adversity and Eric Mangini looks like a coach who is in over his head with a team who's talent isn't all that great I might add and this is why they are doing so terrible this year.

Remember how great everyone though that Pennington was last year? Remember how everyone was waiting for that season he wasn't hurt. Truth was that the man was never a Genius. Just like Belichick he was LUCKY that everything fell in place. Thing is for Belichick it has lasted, for the Jets it was a one year deal it seems. Oh and for those that don't believe me that Belichick ISN'T a genius, then look up his years in Cleveland.
