but now my sifu says that i should enter a juveinlile tournament next year, he said i could do very well as i spar quite good with the more experinced lot

or i could wait till im 16, but when i turn 16 the catogoreis are gonna be judged depending on height,
and obvioulsly i will get owned by some of the ppl who are 6ft and over

should i start training now, and the next yr comp is semi contact
so i think i could easily beat all of them

It is all up to you. Tournament is more about training your mind than your skill if you do spar regularly ready if other martial artist. It will help you in a long run; so why not and go for it.

IF your growth has affected your balance and technique and you haven't adapted fully to that growth yet I would say no. I remember as my body grew doing martial arts as a kid I would have to adapt my technique after every growth spurt.

If your technique is good and you and your Sifu feel you're ready, go for it. If you win good going, if you lose it's simply incentive to train harder.

TRAIN HARD!
FIGHT HARDER!

Now that you've grown physically, you need to grow up mentally and spiritually.

6 feet or not, you're a kid. Silence yourself and learn something.
