i used to pitch the "Tim Linncecum" way where I would push off really hard off the the mound, but that always made me slip and throw the ball weird. I'm now going to try to throw the "Michael Main" way where I still push off but not as far. Do you think this is smart? Or should I keep practicing the Tim Linncecum way.

If you use your body instead of your arm...you should be pulled off the mound and not have to push off....

Forget the way everyone else throws and do it the way it is comfortable for you. Just take a look at all these MLB pitchers and how many different deliveries you see. There is no one best way or everyone would be throwing the same way.

At what point in the delievery would you slip? And where did the ball usually go? High and outside, high, high and inside, low, low inside/outside, middle, middle in/outside?
