Sports - 29 August 2007

My wife and I are moving to a new city and crime being what it is, we think its time to get a gun. I was hoping for a light weight, easy to use, handgun for home protection. We're two women living together, its just too scary sometimes, and we need to be more prepared.
Any advice is welcomed

Some people think that Joe Torre is babying him, and he is ready for the rotation in order to help the Yankees in the playoff race.
Some people think that he still needs to learn in order to become a starter.
Personally, I am impressed by his performance so far, but he hasn't pitched a whole lot, so it is a little too early to say anything.
What are your opinions?

Why the new name for Johnny Nitro ? He has become John Morrison...why did he change it...? I heard it was because he was drafted to ECW, so he didn't want to be known as Johnny Nitro from WWE, is that true ? Thanks.

I love the kid hes special he has a great slider he has not given up any runs which is good. He has struck out over 15 people and hes not cocky or anything hes very humble young man hes also cute. I cant wait for him to be in the rotation .

I just had to share this with someone. My little sister who works for Lowes just won an all paid expense trip to go to the Bank of America 500 at Lowes Motorspeedway and she is taking me. VIP and Pit Passes plus I get to meet JJ (would rather meet Kenseth) but I aint complaining. 4 day trip and I think we also go to the Busch race too. Talk about lucky.

It needs to be around 54-56cm, there are plenty of places online but many of them will not ship, I would be using it mostly just to stay in shape, but i do like to go fast and plan on racing on it in the spring. Any suggestions out there will be welcome.

I am trying to learn to play golf, my husband enjoys it but i am horrible! Anyone have any tips to help me out? I have a full set of clubs, but i tend to stand up to straight when hitting the ball, could they be to short? I am 5'5 if that helps. When i can make contact i can hit fairly well but its the hitting it part i have trouble with, espically on the fairways. Any tips would be helpful, because i really want to learn to play. Any sort of football rivalry goes straight out of the window to any normal decent football fan, when this kind of thing happens.

And I hope so much he will be ok.
