Why the new name for Johnny Nitro ? He has become John Morrison...why did he change it...? I heard it was because he was drafted to ECW, so he didn't want to be known as Johnny Nitro from WWE, is that true ? Thanks.

because he knew if he didn't change his name people wouldn't look at him and think he is a good wrestler, because they would be thinkinng of the old crapy johnny nitro, now that he has a new name he can be looked at totally different and gain a e-go

vince thought johnny nitro wasnt a champion like name that people would take seriously so instead they renamed him john morrison

I heard somewhere that it was his real name, so I looked him up and his real last name is Hennigan! (Definitely not as cool for a wrestler, lol). At any rate, I am enjoying the whole Jim Morrison act--he should take a Doors song for his theme now, maybe "Light My Fire." At any rate, he sure is pretty to look at, no matter what you call him. :)
