If they pitch less each day, their arm strength doesn't diminish, and a bullpen has around 10 to 12 pitchers stocked (5 starters, 5-8 relievers). Using a shorter time period for pitching, they could use 3-5 pitchers a day and have their arms not wear out, and keep a fresh bullpen. The 3 inning range will keep their rotation through a lineup to a minimum so hitters will keep guessing and not get accustomed to a pitcher through the innings. What's so bad about that?

i think the preseason is such a joke

last night, michael jennings (NY Giants WR) ruptured his achillies tendon. done for the season

two nights ago Ebenezar ekuban (Denver ??) did the same thing. also done for the season

i feel that the NFL preseason is meant to do this. injure players and bring in money. WHY? because thats all it ever does

the nfl needs to shorten preseason. too many guys get hurt, and there are more guys getting hurt than there are guys getting invaluable game experience. the means DONT justify the extremes

so i say nfl preseason should be 1 game. 2 MAX

anyone else share my vision??

"I’ve said it many times before. Teresa Earnhart was and is the business brains behind DEI. Dale Sr. admitted he would have had little without her. She comes from a racing family and knows the business. DEI will go on without Jr. and it will be successful."

I say yes, I mean even with steroids, its still incredibly hard to hit a homer. Still have to have plate vision and contact, not to mention your own strength. Also without steroids, he probably woulda gone to the HoF anyways. Tell me what you think.

The top two drivers in Busch Series standings are actually in the top 12 in Nextel Cup Standings.

Cup drivers have won 23 of the 25 races this season.

If I were in charge of NASCAR, they're will be no more Cup drivers doing double-duty, the number of Cup drivers in a Busch Series race will be six, and the number of races a Cup driver will run is eight.

In five seasons in the Minor Leagues he has a 2.70 E.R.A.

He mentioned his friend is going to New York to watch the yankees play for his birthday and he said he was jealous becuase he has never seen them play anywhere and would like to see them at the stadium before it gets torn down. Its kinda complicated so tell me if you would still want to go considering 1. Were broke so it would have to be cheap seats and eating cheaply and everything while were there (thrusday night to sunday). We can stay at my friends house so no hotel expense. 2. I will be 6 months pregnant by then and not keen on walking. 3. How much fun could it be to take a pregnant woman to a yankees game (considering i know NOTHING of baseball) I think thats about it. The only good thing is he does have family in New jersey he has been wanting to see so he would be happy about that as well. Please tell me if you think he would like it or if its too mcuh trouble. Thanks (we live in miami btw) oh and the yankees would play the baltimore.

They say there is a window of dry weather, so they think they can run the race. Yay. It's on ESPN2 right now. If they get the track dry, they can run in about half an hour...no pre-race inspection needed.

I answered the favorite driver question but then I was thinking - here we all have a favorite driver to "hate". I cannot stand Jeff Gordon and I have a serious dislike of Jr. So who do you love to hate when the race is runnin'?

I hate Gordon because he is a crying whining baby and I think JR thinks he is as good as his Dad was but he isn't even close.

It really makes me mad that now days there are all these people into shooting that need to be at home playing Halo.I was at the range the other day and there were these two kids there blasting music and shooting guns gangster style,I asked them why they shoot like that and they said its more accurate.
Ok.I was there shooting my 460 and this stupid kid comes up and pickes up my Glock.I told him thats a good way to get shot.He put it down and mumbled somthing and left.He didnt ask to see it he just came over and picked it up.It was laying maybee 10 feet from me.I allways shoot there and I never had problems like this before. When they were leaving I wrote down there license plate # and make of car.I called the president of the club.He said they had problems before with them. They were bringing Tvs and garbage to out range shooting it and leaving it there. These stupid kids need to stay at home and play Halo before they get hurt or hurt themselves.

In an e-mail Thursday to The Associated Press, Warner Bros. publicist Laura Kim said the movie will tell the story of an FBI agent who investigates a Shaolin monk and underground kung fu fight clubs.
