The question is not whether he wants to come outta retirement but whether he can. He is already a 42 year old (around the same age as Jordan) with a skinny Penny Hardaway frame. All it takes is a bump from one of the opposing team's big men to send him into a 2nd retirement. Best case scenario would be if Miller became a spot up shooter in the mode of Steve Kerr or John Paxson then maybe it wouldn't hurt from him to come back. The Celtics probably won't play him as much even if he comes back. Most likely, they use him like the Spurs utilize Robert Horry by letting him cruise during the regular season and then let him turning on during the postseasons. Reggie has been a clutch player in his playing days so let's hope Father Time hasn't take that away from him with age.

He would be coming off the bench for 20-25 minutes per night. But he has been away from competition for such a period of time and - combined with his age - I just don't see how he will benefit the club. He retired for a reason and it wasn't boredom from the game....it's the body can't take the pounding any more.

I think so. He has no ring and would have a good shot at a championship with them. It also can't hurt that his house in Malibu, is right next door to KG. I'm sure KG is trying to convince him. Plus, Reggie is doing two practices a day right now and getting in shape.

yes it could, he will need to play minutes to come out of retirement and at his old age there is only about a 30% chance that he could be a solid contributor.
He won't come out of retirement because he knows the Celtics aren't a championship-caliber team.

I don't think he will. But if he does, it will most likely be a minimum playing time constraint, or a go to person in time of crunch. He could play just enough to get the team up in points, then bench it. But overall, I don't think he will. If he does, coo!

I hope so. Even if he plays garbage minutes. He's very good and he can avoid injuries and such because he is a shooter.

40 years old,I don't think so.It'll hurt his stats and he won't be as good.Maybe he can help a little, but it won't be for the best.
