I think they should limit the number of Cup drivers allowed in each Busch race. Also, they should leave the top 10 starting positions to Busch drivers only so the highest a Cup driver could start would be 11th. With this, NASCAR can still have the big Cup names in the race to attract the crowds and tv audience while preventing the Cup drivers from smothering the Busch drivers. Remember, for every Cup driver that makes the Busch race, there's a Busch team that has to go home.

They pretty much have taken care of that issue with the Car Of Tomorrow. The main reason the Cup drivers enter into Busch races that are held at the same track is to gain information and experience they can use in their Cup ride. Starting next year, all the Cup races will use the COT, while the Busch races will continue to use the cars they run now. That means that any info and experience gained from the Busch race will be almost meaningless in the Cup race.
There will still be a few Cup drivers that drive in the Busch races, but not nearly as many, and they will be doing it for the love of the sport, rather than to help their Cup team.

NASCAR is not going to do anything about the cup guys running in the busch series. Most of the money comes from the cup boys. The Busch series also does not have enough drivers to run a race and the Cup drivers are fillers.

They need to do something, but I don't know if they will.. NASCAR hasn't proved to me that they want the Busch series to be a "feeder" series anymore. The days of watching drivers develop into BUSCH Series Champions and land a big CUP ride after a good couple of seasons maybe over. NASCAR loves the $$$ that they have been bringing in since all the CUP drivers are running over there constantly! I truthfully wish they'd limit the CUP guys down to about 10 races a year and let us learn something about these new generation of drivers looking to catch a break!
Unfortunately, NASCAR hasn't made many good decisions in the past so don't look for them to make the right one here either!

Well be thankful your not in charge of NASCAR! If you were you would be losing a lot of MONEY! The Cup drivers make the money for the Busch Series! They are the reason why the fans go see the Busch. The Cup drivers make the Busch races more exciting to watch! If they wouldn't be allowed to race in the Busch anymore then NASCAR would lose a lot of money, and NASCAR knows it! You ask any NASCAR Fan and they will tell you they watch the Busch because of the Cup Drivers. I know I do!
Go RCR!!!

i think if you are in the top 35 then you can only run in 6 races in busch, but if you are not in the top 35 then you should be able to run as many as you want to!!!
but i do think there should be something done about it, maybe they should make a rule that if you race in a busch race the same week as cup you must start at the back of the field

No because sponsors will drop out if they only have Busch racers. Denny Hamlin took a car that Armirola qualified and started because the sponsor wanted Denny in the car. NASCAR is big business and sponsors dictate this situation more than the drivers themselves. I don't particularly like it either but when money is involved NASCAR listens.

Then you would have the truck series. If I was in the Busch series as a driver, Id be honored to run with the big dogs.

Unfortunately for the up and coming drivers, I dont think it will ever happen like that again. Too much money is involved with sponsors and money that the track is generating from the increased attendance.
