No! Trust me you do not want to do that. Thomas Jones does have an injury, but he will be ready to go by the time the season starts. Chestor Taylor is going to be sharing carries with Adrian Peterson so you don't want him. Now if you want to pick up Taylor as depth then you need to drop someone else, but not Jones.

Thomas Jones injury is a question mark. Who are your other running backs? If you can afford to start someone else and keep T. Jones on your bench until he's 100% he is a better option than Chester Taylor. Taylor is going to be battling Adrian Peterson for the #1 spot all season and splitting carries. Jones is a clear #1 though he will share the duties a little.

Thomas Jones' injured calf is definitely cause for concern, so I'd be wary of that.

That said, there's no way I'd ever drop him. He's coming off a hot year and will be a hit in New York, which quickly went and grabbed him in the off-season.

Adrian Peterson is the future in Minnesota and Chester Taylor will slowly turn into his running back by committee partner. I could see a time share developing here, which you're best advised to stick away from.

Drop one of your WR4/5 for Chester Taylor, but keep Thomas Jones. Interestingly enough, Jones has been slipping in late drafts because of his injury, which means more owners should be able to grab this fantasy stud for cheap.

No. Chestor Taylor is goin to split with Adrian Peterson and AP is soon gonna take over the startin job. Where as the jets brought in Thomas Jones to be there feature back and thats what he will be.

No - this is really not close.

Thomas Jones is a solid back and worth starting at your #2 RB spot. Taylor was barely worth a consideration at #2 last year, let alone this year when he is sharing carries to a greater extent. Also, Peterson has looked terrific thus far in camp/preseason and I would not be surprised to see him getting 70% of the Vike's carries by week three.

If you really don't like Thomas Jones, try trading him for say Cedric Benson or someone of his calibur.

Do work

That's a BIG NO....T Jones is the starter for the Jets and C Taylor is pencil in as the starter, but will lose some carries to A Peterson (if they know how to use both of them then you will see a R Bush/D McAlister type backs for Minn., but again they are sharing carries.

I would not drop Thomas Jones, I would drop one of your weak receivers, or Mike Turner, trust me back up = not much scoring. Chester is good but he is splitting carries with Adrian Peterson the rookie, and he might take his job. But Thomas Jones is the starter, though he is hurt, I would hold on to him.

Not even close! Especially since Curtin Martin isn't coming back, Jones is going to get plenty of carries and be the go to guy in NY. He should have no problem hitting 1,000 yards.

If you are in my league go ahead and drop Jones. If not you better keep him because the Jets will be using him lots including in the all important RED ZONE.The Vikings are going to struggle scoring points and Chester may end up being a 3rd option.
