There was this guy who worked for EMS, Eric Warren. He screwed up the test results that they got from what I think was Las Vegas testing earlier this year. Ray said their '07 cars were based on non-existent information.
This was in the article, "The team built all of its Chargers based on that information, which no one realized was fundamentally flawed until last week"
Then Ray said "We basically have spent half a year trying to a build a foundation that didn't exist"

Kasey is doing poorly this year, because dodge has changed noses and they didnt get a handle on the new nose, and EMS is struggling keeping up with the COT demands and learning the new nose,that is why they went backto all the 06 stuff. All drivers have an off year as well. Kaseys 05 was bad to,Just seems like they cant get the car to his liking this year. He will be back next year,and espically since Ray has a new partner its going to help EMS get to the top. Also because ray couldnt focus on just the racing, he had to attend to bussiness stuff, Now that he has this new partner ray will pretty much be the compeition director and thats going to make a HUGE improvement.!

Because Ray Evernham's love life is apperently doing so well. He (Ray) has lost focus on racing and hopefully the Gillette merger will help him get back on track. I don't care about him but it's just not fair to the drivers over there. The aerodynamics of the new car are also a factor but Penske seems to have figured it out so I'm not buying that excuse. Maybe his divorce was too expensive and he had to cut back on research and development? Kasey didn't forget how to drive and I don't think it has to do with HIS focus or ability.

To everyone who wants to pick on Dodge. Kurt Busch is running well and has a win. I will agree the Dodges may not stack up against a Chevrolet, but the Fords aren't so hot this year, either. You can throw blame all over the place, but I gotta believe the relationship with Erin Crocker is not doing Ray Evernham any good at all. None of the Evernham cars are worth a fart this year.

I think it's the cars, for some reason the Dodges aren't up to par.
And with his team owner carrying on.
Maybe they can get the problems figured out and he can do better.

He just hasn't had the equipment to keep him competing for wins. There will be a major overhaul at the shop for 2008.
