Is there any info posted anywhere that shows who each member of the baseball sports writers association actually voted for? I guess my main question is who the hell didn’t vote for Tony Gwynn? There are roughly 550 voting members and he got 97.5% of the votes. That means that there were roughly 14 voters who did not vote for Tony. That is ridiculous. I’m not a Padre fan looking for the 100% vote, but come on, the guy won 8 batting titles, 5 Gold Gloves (in the outfield!), 15 time All Star, and finished with a .338 lifetime batting average. That someone didn’t vote for him is a tragedy. I'd like to hear one of these writers reasoning behind not voting for TG. Ripkin missed out on a few votes as well. Gimme a break...
