The Colts start 9-0, setting an NFL record for consecutive undefeated streaks, then stop defending the run (thanks to losing FOUR safeties and 2 DT's to injuries) to finish 2-4, including a first-ever loss to HOU.

JAX starts 8-5, and has a lock on a wildcard spot, then finish 0-3, including the last game against KC with a wildcard on the line for the winner.

Denver starts 7-2, seemingly with a world class defense, then finishes 2-5, including an overtime loss to the 49ers with a playoff spot on the line.

Seattle starts 4-1 but finishes 5-7, winning only once all season against a playoff team (NYG in week 3).

Atlanta starts 5-2 with Vick looking like Peyton Manning on two occasions, then finishes 2-7 and out of the playoffs.

Carolina starts 6-4, but loses four straight to miss the playoffs.

Dallas starts 8-4, but loses 3 of their last four.

The Giants start 6-2, and finish 2-6, barely backing into the wildcard spot.

Was watching a great film this morning about boxing (The Harder They Fall). Was wondering how many boxers have died as a result of fight injuries?

The Jets start 5-5, but finish 5-1 to beat out DEN, JAX, PIT, and CIN for a playoff spot.

PITT starts 2-6 but finish 8-8 with another late season turn-around, losing only to BAL in that span.

Philly goes 5-0 after losing Donovan McNabb.

Green Bay, who went 7-4 after an abysmal 1-4 start, including an 0-3 start at Lambeau, and only missed the playoffs by the 3rd tie-breaker (strength of schedule).

OK, I don't know how good a shot I have, but here's the deal: I'm 11, I'm 5'8", and I can touch the net and am about 1 ft away from the rim. What good exercises can I do to get stronger, quicker, and higher?

Please give real answers, no stupid ones like "get a trampoline" or "lower the basket". I can already dunk on an 8'6" hoop. I can also palm the basketball. Any good exercises? Thanks for the help.

I won my Football league championship, but received a third place trophy. Do you know if they messed them up for everyone? I think they based them on the regular season.

I'm going to take my dad on a hunt. Last year we went to Wyomiming for antelope and muley (taggeg out)!. However, this year we want another trip. I'm going to team up with a frien and his pop.

we woud like to do a self-hunt that is relatively easy. Our Dads are getting older (late 60's) and the big hunts are a little tough on them. We all loved killing the antelope, but i'm looking for ideas on what else we can hunt. Also, where can we go to make it relatively easy for them? We are all from Michigan so any place that resembles a Michigan hunt would be about right - but we want to take some other big game other than white tail.

thanks in advance - Happy New year! All suggestions welcome!

This seems like an obvious question but I can't seem to find the answer. I take a stimulant for ADD, prescribed by a doctor that leaves the body in 1-2 days. It is on the in-competition prohibited list, but not on the out-of-competition prohibited list.

Am I doing anything wrong if I keep taking it, but stop in advance of competition so that it is not in my system when I am competing?

Martyn, Warne, McGrath..and now Langer. Plus, it surely cant be very long before Ponting, Gilchrist, and Hayden join them in retirement...and maybe Brett Lee too.

Thats almost the entire team that has dominated world cricket for years gone in a matter of months. There are a few good young replacements..but not enough for Australia to remain at the same level. At least England have a young squad who will still be together in two years time., so retaining the Ashes in England is going to be very, very difficult.
