This seems like an obvious question but I can't seem to find the answer. I take a stimulant for ADD, prescribed by a doctor that leaves the body in 1-2 days. It is on the in-competition prohibited list, but not on the out-of-competition prohibited list.

Am I doing anything wrong if I keep taking it, but stop in advance of competition so that it is not in my system when I am competing?

Depends on what form of ADD you have. But I'd first ask your Dr if there's something suitable off the prohibited list.

I know some ADD people who "self medicate" using strong coffee to settle down. I'm sure there are some herbal equilivants that are not on the prohibited list.

I know other's who've worked out what are their dietary trigures - usually wheat products.

You can, but you don't really need to... ADD can be mentally suppressed much more effectively. You are wasting time with the meds.

Your're wasting your time with that medicine, because ADD is a politically correct so-called "disease," but is really a myth.
