I am hoping the forum can help me on this one, i have a particular fighter in my mind but i am not 100% sure, please help if you can.

Frank D this is a truly tough question. Yvonne Durelle knocked Archie Moore down four times during Moore's defense of his lightheavyweight crown in 58 so this may be a record for one defense. Floyd Patterson also was knocked down frequently during his reign as heavyweight champ.

I'm guessing Floyd Patterson. He was the most knocked down champion in history.

other than rocky balboa(haaaa! sorry guys, figured i'd get this in before some other clown did!), rocky marciano(against moore, walcott), and archie moore, rocky graziano(against zale was amazing), am not really sure who's done it the most but these fighters are all that come to mind.....

Im not sure, but arturo gatti was knocked down quite a few times in his career and goy up to knock the guy out.
