Lazy prose, I'm afraid...is it not used to show the 'working class' that players still have them at mind (entry price to Old Trafford notwithstanding)...nah wot ah mean? Jimmy Hill's been at it for decades...is he still alive?

Because all footballers are uneducated people who get paid far too much to do an average job. They spend it on flash cars, gambling, drinking, whores and very rarely walk into a library or pick up a dictionary.
Footballers are thick people. They often get in trouble in night-clubs and receive fines for speeding on built up areas.
