I was at a game where it was snowing heavily, and they used a yellow ball, and stopped the game to mark out the pitch with blue lines, then the game restarted. This was some years ago.

the ball that is used in snow is orange or red. but it would make football more interesting if they used a plain white ball. it would make all of those over paid toffs work for their money.
