College basketball is a joke period. Plus there are so many teams, it's easy to wrack up huge win totals vs. powderpuffs. Knight would last all of Tarkanian seconds as a pro coach.

He deserves this. 40 years of his life has been going into this moment. Regardless what you think of him as a person, enjoy this accomplishment. It a time of tarnished sports heros, he has been the one coach who refuses to play anyway but within the rules. Hes the greatest coach of this generation, and he is an over achiever.

Yes, indeed. Knight is blemish on all of coaching, wins don't excuse his behavior. But since money equals wins in the real world it doesn't matter.

His temper tantrums outweighs his basketball acumen. The end doesn't justify his means. He has outgrown the game and its time for him to go....
