We had a missionary speak at our church. He travels all over the world, carrying the gospel of Christ to those that do not have it.
While in an Int'l Airport in the EU, he observed a large mural-type ad with a man, woman, and a child holding their right hands, fisted, with the backs toward the viewer, showing that they had "taken the mark". The text in the ad stated that everyone needed it to ensure the security of their future, and to keep their ID from being stolen, and their accounts safe.
Upon asking an employee of the airline what they thought of the ad, and taking the "mark" (the missionary being a Christian, and knowing the full meaning of what the mark meant), the employee informed him that they had already gotten a letter from corporate HQ, telling them that everyone had to have the mark by 2010, or they would be terminated from their jobs, and lose any benefits, retirement, etc. Scripture being fulfilled. What are your thoughts on this? Your explanations?
