My favorite movie or movies about Jesus my Lord and Saviour is Jesus of Nazareth, and the new film the Gospel of John. I also liked the Passion but it was so hard and heartbreaking I do feel it was probably about the most accurate and realistic show about the actual cruxification.

I just watched that movie The Nativity Story that came out last year and it was really good. If you want a good pretty close to the Bible, story of the birth of Christ, rent this one.

The Passion Of the Christ & Jesus of Nazareth.
I thought both were very accurate portrayals Of Christ as presented in the Gospels.
Another movie about Our Lord Jesus that I really liked was Mary, Mother Of Jesus, starring Pernilla August as the Blessed Virgin Mary(It was a tv movie).

I watch The Gospel of John often. I love the movie. It did show Jesus not afraid tell tell off the Pharisees. I think that it was the most accurate.

The Passion of the Christ. Despite Mel's many, many, many faults, he DID really try to get that movie right.
My next favorite was called "Jesus of Nazareth".

Mel Gibson's "the passion". Why, because theirs nothing better than watching the cruelty of mankind to make us want to become better than that.
Honestly, my favorite movie about Jesus was one when I saw as a child where he actually studies the scriptures before talking like a messiah.
Now if you ask me what is my favorite part in the movie it's where he looks up at Heaven and says "forgive them father for they know not what they do".
God called us all ignorant, very ironic to the "he died for our sins" theory.
-coming from the mouth of his murderers, yeah
...mine ..uh..no I wasn't even born.
"He died for our sins my son." Yeah, yours maybe.

Jesus of Nazareth. I think it is the most faithful to the Scriptures, and about the only one I will watch.
