I'm going through a very difficult time in my life at the moment and cannot possibly see what good can come out of this. I have financial issues, don't have a job yet (still in school), and have been quite depressed lately. I just don't see that anything good can come out of this.

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason ? Does God care ? Why wouldn't He send me some help ? How much longer do I have to bear this ?

I'm afraid I cannot take it much longer.

Please advice me ... ?

God cares more than we can every imagine! He has a plan and will use this time for your good and you will see something good come for it. He is always there for you and is working it out. You just have to really trust and depend on Him, I know it is hard during this time. He knows exactly when to bring help your way. Some trials go quickly, others take a long time. Just keep praying and reading the Bible, this will help, also listen to Christian music. I am praying for you!

One thing that you must keep in mind is that many things happen in life that are trialsome because of human imperfection. I am not saying that you are the main cause of your problems, because many times its the imperfections of others that hurt us. Realize who rules this wicked system of things (1 john 5:19). Financial issues and depression is rising at alarming rates worldwide, not just for older folks but young kids in school as well. This world is going down and all you have to do is look at the News to confirm it. The main problem is people don't recognize how God has shown that he does indeed care... By providing his word the Bible. By applying bible principles you can endure your situation. (Romans 5:3-5) Going through different situations work out good qualities for you making you a better person. But at the same time God doesn't create these situations. He does not try us with evil things.(James 1:13) But he does ALLOW them to happen to us. Think about it, this life is not what god intended for us to live. If it was then God would be a terrible personage and you know that that Isn't true. Hang in there and continue to study the bible and I know it will get better for you...

I do believe that everything happens for a reason. (But it is true that you might not ever know the reason.) And God does care!!! He cares for every one of his children. I have gone through periods of depression in my life where things seemed hopeless but I have learned to give my worries over to God. Matthew 6: 27 - 34 helps me. "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Does your school have free counseling? Or does a church in your area have free counseling? I went to counseling at the university that I attended and the counselor helped me figure things out. Take a deep breath and just try to take things day by day. You will get through this. Keep praying. God will answer you but in his timeframe not yours. I will pray for you. If you would like to e-mail me through Yahoo Answers, I will respond.

Yup.
Things happen for a reason.
Ofcourse God cares, but i guess it's to teach you a lesson.
And sometimes God is probably showing you how it is for others if you laugh or make fun of them.
Idknow, it's hard to explain.
But eventually in the end something good will happen.
Pray and keep your hopes up.
Turn that frown upside down =)
Seriously, take it slow and be calmn.
Depression is good for you, so try to think things thro.

And don't stress yourself out,
things will happen on it's own and everything
will be fine =)

I have come to the belief that some things have cause. I don't believe that god is that cause. It's because god doesn't exist.

My belief stems from the fact that we are all somehow connected in this universe. And, as such, that brings into motion certain scenarios that have reason to happen.

Call it fate. Or call it destiny.. but there are some things that cannot be chalked up to coincidence.

For you, try your best to get through it because you will. And it will make you a better person for surviving it. When you look back on it, you'll see that it was worth the journey.

I know from experience.

listen to me. I honestly know people in your situation. They are still in school, broke out of their ***, dont have a job but they are not depressed. this is because after you graduate, do internships, etc... you will have a job. in the mean time you might have to live with your parents, siblings, etc... to get by. you might have a tremendous amount of loans but its ok you can pay it back later. the worst thing you can do is become depressed just study and learn graduate and everything will fall into place, trust me.

everything does happen for a reason and god does care. we all go through trials and tribulations but in different ways. dont compare yourself to others. their hardships might be different than yours but everyone has problems of some kind, its just a matter of how you go about coping with them. you can cantact me if you need to talk.

Nope, Im an atheist. Things happen for a reason of course, but not the way you mean. You may be having financial problems, for example, because you work a minimum wage job while in school, and the republicans in congress keep defeating attempts to raise the minimum wage. Thats a reason, but not a comforting one.

Not everything happens is the result of God's actions. People keep blaming God, Lucifer became Satan, who wanted complete freedom and become like God in his pride. Later, Mankind turned away from God at Eden.

You want God to help? Talk to God directly about it in prayer.

Best time: find a quiet place alone. look up to the evening clear skies or the bright blue morning skies. Then bow down and start earnestly talking with Him as a friend. No. ave maria, no thee and thous, honest one on one talk, The Living God is not a statue or a unfathomable being. . Be still and somehow, someway, He'll tell you what you need most and He'll comfort you.

There are a lot of people like you in the world. In our country especially. You are not alone. You'll find a job eventually. If not, you can always create one. Don't let lack of opportunity be an excuse. Don't let poverty be an excuse. Excuses are for people who are helpless or cannot function normally. You are not! The greatest thing a man has is his ability to think. Thinking in itself is useless unless you put action into it.

Except for the student part, we have similar problems. I don't quit. If things are going bad. Assess, if you can get out of the situation, get out. Thats what we call damage control. Se. Villar started selling shirmps in a wet market, where is he now? The owner ng National Bookstore started out selling notebooks and pads on the streets of divisoria, where is she now? Lucio Tan is a poor ahente, who borrowed money left and right, where is he now? SM owner started out as shoe emporium, where is he now? The owner of Fiesta Pizza started out selling pizza boxes, where is he now? The owner ng Zesto started out the juice business in his backyard, where is he now? There are tons of people out there who started out from scratch with people looking down at them. They started in hopeless situations, they achieve because they don't quit in life. You got one life here on earth, fight back and never quit!

am guessing you see evil and blame God.

satan is the god of this world temporarily this is why bad things happen, God has a plan of redemption to get it back. He is perfect and therefore He is doing a perfect job.

When Adam sinned, he gave the authority of the world to satan. God is working on redeeming all the earth, but for now satan is the god of the world.

God does grant some protection, but its not absolute, because God cannot break the laws He made. He gave the earth to Adam, and Adam gave it to satan.

The best protection we can get is when we are obeying God.

God is there for a shoulder to cry on. He gave us a brain and tools so that we could figure stuff out for ourselves. He leaves it up to us to create our destiny... he is simply just observing. Everything that happens to us, good or bad, is only due to our own experiences. Think back... I'm sure there has been something horrible that has happened to you and because it did, you were grateful because you became a better person because of it. Life works itself out.
