I hardly think that God is rejoicing in Yahoo answers as a way to carry out his work.

I do not quite understand what did Lord do for the Yahoo's Q&A?! You post too many questions in the religious area. I think you should go out and refresh. Not to drag everything to God, Lord. Give everyone some fresh air. May be that is why the "evildoers" popping the report button on your questions. Try to examine yourself. Ask yourself why that happened?

I have never heard this & I was not only raised as but an still surrounded by fundamentalists. I have however heard them call others devil worshipers as an insult, which isn't the same thing. Honestly, since I don't hide my religion from people, if I heard a christian call another christian a pagan as an insult I would be like o.O what? Then I would stop hanging out with them. ETA: I have heard one wiccan call any another wiccan a bible thumper, I lol'd

I've concluded that many Christians on R&S are so wimpishly sensitive they are unable to take any criticism. The word "deluded" to describe them just hits such a raw nerve that they almost instinctively head for the report button. Too many of them are lacking in any sense of humor. Trying to tell them to lighten up a bit is a futile exercise. Oh, well, so be it.

well.....I think the work of the Lord can be carried out in many ways and yes, I think that would include on yahoo answers. You witness to people not only with words, but with your life. You might answer a question (not just about the Lord) that could help someone in ways that you would never know. This could be thought provoking and yes, might even lead them to Christ.
I think sharing in this way, if it is done constructively can be helpful to say the least and for me, it is not even about the points anymore, it is about sharing what knowledge the Lord gives me to share.

The work of the Lord is not in casting out evildoers (aka sinners). It's in casting out evil.
Yes, the work of the Lord is done here every day.

Well I dont' do that becuase that's their choose to put those things up just as much as it's my choose to not put such things up. I can't state that I don't like it in my response or type up something more persuasive and true. The work of the Lord can happen everywhere and anywhere. So really by just putting a question or answer up you could help in God's perfect and wonderful plan.

not by 'popping the report button', I don't do that. I could really care less, maybe we've accomplished something but it's not reporting people cuz who really cares if you report them?

Are you kidding? I just had a great guy e-mail me with legitimate concerns about scripture. He had a terrible experience for 25 years in a church and now has hard feelings but is willing to talk about it. I think that is fantastic.
You might not think your words are having an impact by the way people are expressing themselves, but believe me they are. Truth is truth and it is powerful.
