It is, but don't think of it negatively. It's just something you work with to get to where you want to be. We ALL deal with pride, some more successfully than others!

Pride is a sin when it keeps you from humbling yourself. Being proud of other people is not a sin, but being proud to the point where you can't admit you are wrong is a sin though. Hopefully this helps

Seven deadly sins,,,hmmm....that is Old Testement and we are under Grace. However,,there are only two sins that God called an abomination,,,,homosexual activity and being proud.....So yes, Pride is a sin
.King James Bible
Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

That depends. Too much pride in yourself is mainly what the Bible talks about. Too much pride in yourself can make you think that sinning means nothing because you're too stuck up. But say, if you're proud of yourself for just overcoming a goal or proud of your friends for doing something good, there's nothing wrong with that kind of pride.

It's not a sin to feel acomplished or happy with yourself but it is a sin to brag and be arrogant about yourself. Proud can be thought of either of these things and there is a fine line between them.

There is a healthy pride. Hezekiah was very ill and prayed to God saying ," remember Lord how I served you, I threw out my fathers idols and followed you." Hezekiah reminded God of he served the Lord. God sent the prophet back to Hezekiah and told him 15 years would be added to his life.
There is a Godly way to have some pride. When pride is used to oppress or set your status above someone else then it is a sin. We are not to form a pedestal in which to look down on someone else. Remember , Jesus with all the knowledge served the disciples at the last supper. At the last supper the disciples were discussing among themselves which one of them was greater.

A great pride goeth before a great fall.
The point is not about honest pride.
The point is about vanity. It is about false pride.
Being proud of your real accomplishments, that is good.
Vanity, being proud of stuff you never did, of your parents position, and such stuff, is false pride. you have done nothing to be proud in that case. If that is your pride, you are better to be humble.
But if you do something, then that is yours, and yours alone.
If it is something for pride then the pride is deserved.
And is your pride alone, yours to own.
But if you do a shame,....

Having pride in something great you have done or something like that is not a sin. However, being vain and arrogant, thinking that you have everything down and you know everything, that's a sin.

pride is not the sin, but pride can lead you to sin, Much like the story of Lucifer, He was created great and beautiful, But his pride made him sin and made him think that he can be above God. So pride can lead you to sinning as well as death
