A previous great earthquake attended the opening of the sixth seal (Rev. 6:12+). As great as this earthquake is, a still greater earthquake—the greatest of all recorded history—is yet to follow at the pouring forth of the seventh bowl judgment (Rev. 16:17+).

Here are some recent news studies on Climate Change and Earthquakes.

is it that so many just cannot understand that God does exist and His word, the Bible is our way of knowing Him?

This is kind of an old article but I was wondering what people's thoughts on the idea that many times Mother Teresa described not feeling God's presence.
Here is a quote from the article.
"Jesus has a very special love for you. As for me, the silence and the emptiness is so great that I look and do not see, listen and do not hear.
— Mother Teresa to the Rev. Michael Van Der Peet, September 1979"
Here is the article http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1655415-1,00.html.
I just want people's thoughts on this. Do not try to guess my thoughts.
Thanks

I was thinking about going without the Hijab for a week just to prove the point that Islam does not force this on us. Those fathers that killed their daughters for not wearing a piece of clothing on their heads are in the wrong. Nowhere in the Quran or hadiths does it say a man may force this on her. The only obedience a woman has is towards Allah. Men are not rulers or dictators over us, and if they knew their religion inside and out they would know this.

So, for the next week, I'm going without the Hijab. My husband and all of my family (both in the USA and in Pakistan) are fully supportive of this. They know my intentions, Allah knows my intentions, and in this kind of situation it is actually seen as a good thing.

What do you think about this? After the week, I will resume wearing it of my own free will, but for this week it's a show of support for those who were oppressed.

Instead of protecting me and loving me he took advantage and took my innocence. Then when the inevitable happened he tried to get me to have an abortion.

Mom was almost as bad. She knew the whole time what he was doing and never even tried to stop him.

I know what the fifth commandment says and that I forgive.
But I struggle with it. I really do.

How do I forgive them? How can I honor them after what happened?

I’ve known people from many religions and Atheists, Agnostics and Deists. For some reason it has little to do with how much I like them. It seems as though each group has intelligent, respectful and caring people, and some who aren’t. Each group has people who seem to like or not like me. Anything wrong with that?

LoL. :"Adam's mistake was trusting Eve; Eve's mistake was trusting Satan; Satan's nature is Satan's mistake; God's mistakes were no mistake." - The Bible / Shades of Sorrow

For those who don't believe in God look at both of your hands that "M" is for "m"ankind; ironically it's also for "m"istake.

I believe it would be Atheism, closely followed by Agnostic.

However, I think Paganism is the one religion that threatened and still threatens Christianity today.

People still fear Paganism due to the influences of the church...

Please discuss. Thank you.

Ask yourself why you believe what you believe. When you have the answer, ask yourself why you believe it to be true. When you have that answer, ask yourself why you believe that to be true. Trace your belief system back to its most basic root, the thing that you base all of your other beliefs on. Now, why do you believe this fundamental proposition? Is it self-evident? Is it an assumption?

lets say i had premarital sex with my girlfriend. now i go on to marry this girl and have a family. technically i sinned ( sex before marriage) but i did this with my future wife at the time and im NOT sorry about it. so now what? Do i go to hell because of this? while murderers may truly repent what they have done and get into heaven? sounds stupid. no matter how hard i try i just am not sorry for doing this and in my mind why would i be sorry? so am i officially headed to hell?

(Revelation 3:12) ““‘The one that conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine.”

All we agree that these words are from Jesus in heavenly state. The question is, how can Jesus has a God if he is part of trinity? He wasn't in earth when he said these words to claim his human nature, he was in heaven.

Does anyone else think *mentioning* Intelligent Design in a classroom constitutes establishing a national church. Or is it only the judges on that trial.

I'm sure stuff like this is exactly what our founding fathers had in mind when they wanted to be sure no "Church of America" would be established like the "Church of England" in England.

"Teaching intelligent design in public school biology classes violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States (and Article I, Section 3 of the Pennsylvania State Constitution) because intelligent design is not science and "cannot uncouple itself from its creationist, and thus religious, antecedents."

Here on Yahoo I have Brothers/Sisters that I really do love.I have never meet them in person. Its the same way when meeting another Christian for the first time. You can actually feel the presence of God as you greet them. Its as if there is a fountain that brings forth love.It has nothing to do with their looks or race. Its not a love that is motivated by lust or desire.

NOTE: I have not always been a Christian and it wasn't till I became a Christian that I experianced this.SO WHAT IS IT?

I am a full gospel Christian, yet I am also drawn to know more of the messianic jews, as we are grafted in by the jews. They are still Gods chosen ppl, but we know about Jesus. IT would have to be the messianic jewish faith. Are their service in hebrew, if so we wouldnt understand them? Are there some in English? How do we learn more? Just from the few greek and hebrew words we have learned recently, we can see there is way more to the Bible than we ever realized. My husband and I are very much on the same page about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all who will reach out and lead us to more truths.
Thanks a lot and God bless you.
