A previous great earthquake attended the opening of the sixth seal (Rev. 6:12+). As great as this earthquake is, a still greater earthquake—the greatest of all recorded history—is yet to follow at the pouring forth of the seventh bowl judgment (Rev. 16:17+).

Well Crimmson, my true belief now is that the earthquake mentioned in Revelation may not be a physical earthquake so to speak but the effects on mankind from new scientific evidence on proving the existence of the God Yahweh and His Son Jesus found hidden in The Bible's scripture since it's beginning. The realization of this discovery will "shake" the whole world when it comes to light.

Probably there will be a big bad climax to the changes on Earth, and the world will be shaken to its knees. it would be a good thing, since humanity is acting a little bit arrogant. However, what if it is all destined for a terrible end? After all, entire universes will collapse and die, so is it really about it all turning out to be a utopia, or is it more about the now moment? Not that we shouldn't take the actions in the now that prevent a yukky future, but maybe there is nothing we can do about the climate change, it might be too late. I am a believer in there being some divine intervetion that will come in to help save us from ourselves, every religion predicts one, but I'm trying to not fret about it too much. Here is a great video on the subject that might be interesting to you, by Christine Breese, http://www.umsonline.org/SpiritualVideoSatsang/SatsangTranscriptsChristineBreese/15FeelFearStateFaceDeathMeetNoFearNoDeathFaceYourFearDieSurvival.htm

I agree with you, and we need to heed the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:7 - "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." Sure, there have been earthquakes over the years, but not with such frequency and intensity as over the past year.

In the prophetic words of Isaiah 24:18 - "And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake." God Himself will shake the foundations of the whole earth, this will be the earthquake to end all earthquakes! God bless you!!!

The Earth has been experiencing such changes for a long time, as well as many other 'sure signs' of the 'Revelations Earthquake'. People have been expecting the Revelations prophecies to come about basically since they were made, as in thousands of years, and it clearly has yet to happen. There are so-called 'signs' for every age, really just the world being its chaotic self, but people are people and can't help but be paranoid.

Earthquakes happen along fault lines and where the plates rub Big deal, there are earthquakes every day somewhere on the planet m and all those places are along fault lines
Revelation was nothing more than an ergot induced dream and I'm sure it was only included in the babble because the men compiling it wanted to scare the crap out of everyone.

Not at all since Revelations is pure mythology. The fact of the situation is that the earth has always been unstable--do you recall Pangaea or Plate Tectonics from science class?
