As a left handed minister, I had to laugh at that question. Oh my...that they did so long ago was wrong and out right hateful and evil. You know not all professed Christians are true to the faith and satan does enter the church.
As a minister, I know in my heart that the Lord loves left handed people. He loves all people and I am sorry to say that some who proclaim they are Christian give the Lord a bad name. They hurt instead of heal. They judge instead of offer mercy and grace. For that, I weep.

Lefty I am....
both in dominant hand and politics.
....But I'm at an advantage... I can do things with my right hand (like use scissors, operate a computer mouse, etc...) that most right-handed people couldn't do with their left hand.... maybe that's what the superstitious nuts were afraid of.
Long live the sinister!!!
RANDOM FACT: Sinistra (left) being the root word of sinister, which eventually came to mean dark or evil.

Haaaaa.
I had a teacher in junior high who was ambidextrous. He said they that he was born left-handed but they forced him to use his right. They used to tie his left hand to his side. Pretty crazy!

Are you one of the "corrected" ones? I was taken into therapy at the age of five to have my 'left-handedness' 'fixed'. This was on advice from my Mother's Doctor and her minister.
