Mike Huckabee apologises for Mormon 'smear'

This sounds exactly like the European Pope smearing all USA Protestants recently.

What should be done?

Try Mike Huckabee and the European Pope for religious hate crimes?

protestants and catholics do not agree on doctrine neither do mormons and protestants and catholics.

When i speak, i speak my opinion. So does everyone else in the known world.

there are several answers that clarify this question. so anyone who gets it right, in my opinion, will get the points.
I cant talk to my freind because he wont listen, because he cannot accept the truth.

the scriptures do NOT have authority.

you will find that refering to the written word as authoritive will only multiply the idolatry and false witness and false doctrines in the world.

i am a witness of jesus christ. I believe that christianity has lost the truth like paul warned us, in galatians ch 1. the false gospel took control throughout history and the imaginations and false teachings became the prime gospel. i pray that the spirit of God will prove this truth to you and all christians. because after all is said and done we are supposed to fellow citizens in the kingdom of God.

It's really quite torn apart after choosing a practicing gay to become a bishop. I'm not interested in whether it's OK for a bishop to be gay, I just want to know if the church is going to survive the decision. I'm not sure that it is, at least, as a whole entity. It's already been put on notice by the world communion of Anglicans.

1. Nothing is, nothing does.
1. The Bible is like human beliefs, empty and pointless.
2. From nothing we are made, to nothing we shall return.
2. From the unknown we are born to the unknown we shall return.
3. All that has a beginning has an end.
3. What goes up must come down.
4. Tomorrow's future will be yesterday's past.
4. Our future will die with our past.
5. Worldly things and human adoration is all we have.
5. A kingdom of dirt and a crown of plastic is all we'll ever own.
6. Imagination is our greatest strength.
6. Our greatest weakness is that we destroy all we create.
7. If the Bible is just a story, then we've gained a great void.
7. Learning the Bible is false is like learning the world has no law.
8. Atheists only commit crimes. Once man releases himself from God / his conscience, he is no longer a religious man.
8. Atheists don't worship God and don't believe in God; however they live by at least seven of the ten commandments.

Prove me wrong; be wrong.

If you really do, what is the bare minimum of physical proof you would need to affirm the "truth"? Have you found that yet or still searching? If the answer is no, do you think you ever will? If the answer is yes, do you feel satisfied and do you wish everyone else felt the same way?

If you're curious, my answer-
I don't care. Just glad to be alive.

I am not Catholic, but recently saw a Christmas program at a Catholic church where children held fishing poles with golden fish on the line over the baby Jesus in the nativity. I don't understand why this was done. This church is composed of a largely Hispanic population so I don't if it has a culture significance that I am not aware of.

I have a question about God and forgiveness. Here's a scenario:

Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer who murdered and cannibalized 17 people, found God and became a Christian while he was in prison. Supposedly, Jeffrey Dahmer sincerely repented. Accordingly, he was forgiven by God for murdering and cannibalizing 17 people.

So if Jeffrey Dahmer were still alive, and a journalist interviewed him and asked, "Did you murder and eat those 17 people?" and Jeffrey Dahmer replied back: "No, I didn't. I've never murdered or eaten anyone." Would he be telling the truth to the journalist, because he had God's forgiveness? or is he lying, despite being forgiven by God?

What words of wisdom would you like to impart to the mindless masses?
The most important words you ever spoke to anyone.
You have precious little time to tell them what you think is important.
What do you say?

Home come so many people from the Christian denomination religions always answer my questions, like that, avoiding my real question? Or pick on my spelling or grammar instead?

Not all Christians do that, thankfully, and attempt my questions succesfully - however, a fair few Christian contributors on R&S do always re-use the same answers.

While Atheists, Agnostics and many people from other religions attempt to answer it successfully (and usually in a unbiased way)?

Is it because many Christians do not know the answer?

Or are just not willing to answer the question as the know the truth, but yet are not willing to admit it and are just trying to live out the remainder of their life sheltered before a book that supposedly contains the words of God?

They make out like the Bible has all the answers to my questions.

It does not.

I have read it thoroughly and it provides more questions than answers.
