It mean "a greeting", compare:

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:" - 2 John 10 KJV.

"If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;" - 2 John 10 NASB.

It sould be noted that although I do believe the KJV to be the best translation; in this case it is not a good one and some theologians actually consider it using the name of the LORD in vain since "god speed" is NOT in the original Greek text, but rather inserted by the translators yet, not even in italics in the KJV as it should be.
