Home come so many people from the Christian denomination religions always answer my questions, like that, avoiding my real question? Or pick on my spelling or grammar instead?

Not all Christians do that, thankfully, and attempt my questions succesfully - however, a fair few Christian contributors on R&S do always re-use the same answers.

While Atheists, Agnostics and many people from other religions attempt to answer it successfully (and usually in a unbiased way)?

Is it because many Christians do not know the answer?

Or are just not willing to answer the question as the know the truth, but yet are not willing to admit it and are just trying to live out the remainder of their life sheltered before a book that supposedly contains the words of God?

They make out like the Bible has all the answers to my questions.

It does not.

I have read it thoroughly and it provides more questions than answers.

Because they can't argue on the facts.

It IS funny when someone says that, especially when I or someone else is asking about the Bible, such as..."Why does Ezekial's son get beamed up into heaven?" just as an example...and they tell me or someone to "Read the Bible" and then the SAME ONES complain that atheists use the same answers....Ugh...

All it is an easy way out....

-EDIT- Anna is a good example of such ignorance. Why must she bash when they cannot help "enlighten" you instead? Even if it is just in knowledge?

Ethan: "the Bible... provides more questions than answers."
Anna W "YOU ARE IGNORANT OF THE BIBLE...."

Sorry, Anna W, I'll side with Ethan over against you.
And I know my bible well. It was studying the bible that was a good part of leading me into becoming an atheist.

If you wish to match knowledge, *my* e-mail is open.
Of what in particular do you think I, and Ethan, are ignorant?

It could be that they don't know, or maybe are unsure of how to answer. I try to answer the question and avoid critique of the asker.
I find that many people avoid answering the questions posed by others, not just Christians. I wish that would change as well but I don't see it happening. Just keep asking and eventually someone who knows will see it and answer.

That's just it. Maybe you just don't like the answers given? A lot of people don't want answers. They want conflict. The hatred in their hearts has already made up their minds for them. With them there is no appeasement to what they truly desire. It even further infuriates them when they don't get what they want.

Oh you obviously haven't read Amazing Spider-Man 33. I have no idea why I said that but really you should read it. It's a very important issue to the basis of the character.

The non-believers in here, with extremely few exceptions, know 10 times more about the bible than the believers.

If the Bible is the answer, then the question was mind bogglingly stupid.
