I'm sorry but I don't find jokes such as this even mildly funny. It is just that kind of petty selfishness that has gotten us into the violent, cold hearted, hate thy neighbor world that we live in. People don't care about each other and I have seen senseless acts of violence committed for truly petty grievances nearly as ridiculous as fighting over a candy bar. Armed robbers have been know to kill their victims over less than $50 worth of goods. That is not a whole lot different than a 50 cent candy bar when seen on the grander scale of life as a whole.
Since my opinion is transparent, I don't feel the need to actually answer your question.

Wow, this is a really tough moral decision. Snickers are awfully good. Of course if you forgive the knucklehead who took it that makes you almost god like.

In cases such as this, slow torture to the point of death is certainly in order -- I have no doubt that the supreme court would back you up.

BTW - if for a reeses peanut butter cup, I will come down and swear in any court you'd like that it was justifiable homicide...

It's only wrong if it's a long and painful death. Make it quick and painless and take back what belongs to you.
