based on something said on Yahoo! answers? Do you change your philosophy of life, your political preferences or religious choices based on something you read online? From someone that you know nothing about?

I just want' to know how sincerely people take the information given. And when you read something that does seem to make sense to you, do you research it any more before implementing it into your daily life?

Supposedly, we're God's favorite animals. He even created us in his own image! So....why are tardigrades more blessed than we are? I mean, those things can live from -200 degrees Celsius to 151 degrees Celsius, take 1,000 times the radiation of other animals, survive in a vacuum like space, six times the pressure found in the deepest ocean trench, and go almost ten years without water.

I'd take those skills over "free will" any day.

I'm an atheist. I truly honestly do not believe in God. No little tiny part of me even kind of thinks that there is a God. However, I hear people say that atheists believe in God but they are just being stubborn (something along those lines).

So do any Christians on here really truly think that ALL people believe in God to some extent?

I saw this answer several times: There is no God because there is no indisputable proof God exists.

My question is if an atheist relies on science, and the rules of science dictate that absence of proof is not proof something doesn't exist, how can you be an atheist?

If you rely on the lack of evidence but science dictates that it takes proof in the negative to determine a theory doesn't exist, shouldn't all atheists who believe in science over religion be agnostics?

how do you explain the power of prayer?

My mom had a golf ball sized lump in her breast that needed to be biopsied. The entire church prayed for her, layed hands on her, even made her a prayer quilt. When they went to biopsy the lump two weeks afer the mamogram that found it, 2 docrors and 3 ulrtasound tecks couldn't find it. They did another mamogram and there was nothing there. If God didn't make it go away then what did?

This is the second time I asked this, but I wanted some new answers. Thanks.

For a while the fact that humans possess one less chromosome than all other primates would disprove the theory that all modern day primates came from one species. The discovery of chromosome #2 being a fusion of two chromosomes found in other primates shows how a single ancestor is incredibly likely. This is one of many examples of how if evolution wasn't true that the evidence of evolution was created deceptively.
If you believe in creationism, this would suggest that God purposely created us to make it appear that we had evolved. Do you think your God is intentionally deceptive?

Everything they've ever "known" has been proven to be wrong. A thousand years ago everybody knew as a fact, that the earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew that the Earth was flat. I would say more scientific things but it seems the more complicated the words get and fancy things being thrown into an argument they (majority) just throw in the towel, I mean book of faith that they believe in and quote from there.
Anyways, the more things are discovered and become common knowledge, will faith become more and more hard to come by with all the answers being found?

I have been conversing with a Muslim and the request was made that I speak with some that have converted to Islam. Out of respect and so we can continue our conversation, I am doing just that. I posted before and got only one response. If you converted to Islam, would you please share your reasons and experiences? If you know someone that has converted, please share my question with them. (I am a devout Christian and not looking to convert, just looking to expand my knowledge, so please, no preaching.)
