hajj is only done during specific days in a the special month for it ,and there are several requirements/activities lasting a few days to be practiced to complete hajj
if you go to makkah on other days of the year you will perform omrah, not hajj , and the activities can be completed in a couple of hours or less.

hajj is done at specific time of the year..it should be done atleast once in a life time if a person can afford to do it.."when i say afford im talking about money, health and life circumstances"

if people go at any other time of the year it is called "omra"...

the specific time is at around this time of the year "eeid holiday"..around 2 month and a half from ramadan...

ramadan is when muslims fast for a month..can't mention specific month cuz its calculated based on hejry dates "muslims month"

"Hajj" is the name of a month in the Islamic calendar. It's highly recommended that you go to Mecca during this month.

You CAN go at other times, but it's not called "Hajj" then. I don't remember what it's called, though.

I explained yesterday or day before complete Haj which is performed only on 9th day of the Lunar Month known as
Zul Haj
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They can go to perform a small Haj known as UMRAH any day of the year and any time of 24 hours. In Umrah they are not required to go to Aarafat and neither sacrifice an animal is obligatory.
In Umrah they do only two things.
1. TAWAAF. Walking around Kaaba ani-clock wise seven times and supplicating during their walk.
2. Then do do SAEE. Struggle of Hagar mother of Ismael.
They run between two Hills known as Safa and Marwa
seven times commemorating the struggle of Hagar to
look for water for her infant.
Haj is required for adult Muslim once in lifetime .. it should be done in a specific time of the lunar year, during dhul hijja month.
Another thing is Umra, it can be done at any time of the year, and it has less rituals.
