You have to remember which carbons, too. A Carbon60 is lucky to get a date at her size, so she'll probably come over and pick YOU up instead.
Carbon 24s are fairly reliable, but the lower you go, the more into themselves they are. Take a Carbon6, bragging about her dress size and isotope enhancements.

To about 60,000 years it is very reliable.
But I have had a lot of unreliable dates. The amount of half-life I put up with is directly proportional to how hot she is.
