it seems we have come a very long way scientifically..considering what we knew lets say in the 1900's to current times...in the past more things were contributed to religion and less towards the scientific side..but as we progress scientifically do u think that one day religion will die out...? I know without some form of structured religion the world would probably go crazy but it seems things are changing at such a rapid pace that maybe in the future most things will b able to b proved scientifically and ppl will rely less on faith...what is your opinon....?

I think God would have sent an angel and dropped the 10 commandment on that guy's head and the midget security guard with bad aim could have then stepped on him until the real police arrived.

and people who just don't like shopping in crowds or their annoying families much?
there's nothing worse than feeling left out or that you are missing something, when you really aren't. Enforced jollity is the worst kind of merriment.

Last Sunday at the Landover Baptist Church the pastor introduced a celebrity visitor who went by the name "Flying Spaghetti Monster". He didn't make a lot of noise but he had this meatball head and spaghetti hair and a T-shirt that read "FSM". I'm still not sure who he is or what he was doing at our church. Maybe just looking for God? Does anyone know him?

Did he have the right to do so? Did he know that it would cause problems to this day that threaten World Peace?

Why did one small tribe of Judeans have so so much favour with God?

What about other Religions, did he honor any promises to them.

If Jews are the only Chosen Ones. Should we all convert to make YHWE Happy....He is the God of the Jews. Christians and Moslems after all....It would make things so much easier.

We would only need to make war with Hindus and Buddhist.

Some of my family are Mormon who never take into account other family members wishes.

As soon as there is a death in the family they beat feet to the temple and have them sealed (married in Heaven) sometimes to an ex-husband the poor woman hated. Then they are baptized for them.

I find this practice offensive and I would like to know: How I can stop this from happening to me when I pass?

I am an atheist, and I don't know how to explain this. Can an athiest who knows fill me in on how this is possible. The only thing I can think of is the layers have been shifted over time so they overlap or something. Maybe similar to N transforms in archaeology. Anyway does anyone have the scientific reason behind these footprints. I would like to know incase a christian brings it up in an argument against me haha!

I'm Mormon. I consider myself a Christian. I don't know of any Mormon who does not consider themselves a Christian.

I'm wondering if non-Mormon's consider us Christians? If you don't, does it bother you when we answer questions that start out "Christians..." or that are generally known to be addressed to Christians?

Please, no bashing, just answer the questions.

his or her words, in manner and feeling of expressions
example
questions and answers on the subject of religion on this site
is met with sarcasm, and sometime bitterness from atheist'
You don't believe me'
just read the responses, and you will see a definate picture
protrude in their mannerisms
all have a cutting edge, Those of you will reject my statements
and close ranks
But few with honesty' will acknowledge my sentiments
Yes we are burdened with hot heads
but some are posing as religious with spoons to stir.

Someone said, in response to another question I had, that in Romans Chapter 1 somewhere in there it says "Romans ch. 1. The bible explains better than I can. It says something like, They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and so on. " (I copied and pasted a portion of the response).
To me this sounds like someone predicting the Bible editing and brainwashing. Does this seem like this to you too?

Why are creationists science only found on websites?
When an idea such as evolution or radioactive dating is brought forth, that hypothesis or idea is published in a scientifc journal subject to peer review--along with the supporting arguements, observations and data. Science not only encourages but almost demands other scientists to look at the work--look at the implications that perhaps even the author hadn't thought of--reproduce the data--and either confirm or invalidate the work. This peer review is done by submitting a paper to a scientific journal with the new data, new information etc. that would either confirm, expand, or refute the original idea. This new paper likewise is subject to the same scrutiny the original paper was. This ensures in the sciences that false ideas are soundly trounced, mis-information or poor research is thusly self correcting by science--it is an adversarial system to a point. Posting creationist ideas in a web site mean nothing--false hypothesis
