“After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands” - Friedrich Nietzsche (Atheist)

To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible. - St. Thomas Aquinas (Catholic)

SEE THE DIFFERENCE?

Although I do tend to pepper my answers with what I consider to be some wit (perhaps a touch of sarcasm, when necessary), I always strive to answer truthfully and completely. I've actually seen more hostility come from the religious side of this forum.

Not sure what your point or question is?
I can tell you categorically that any unleasant messages I have had here have been from people purporting to be religious and taking issue with my beliefs which run contrary to theirs.
Whilst people bend over backwards not to offfend those who believe in God and practise a accepted religion, those who don't are therefore fair game to any one who want s to take a pop at them??! Who is worrying about hurting my feelings then?

Does your question imply that Atheists are of a higher intellegence than the average religous.

"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but is the highest form of intelegence."

You should feel honored that they bother to lower themselves to answer you with truth and acuracy..!!

Look, it's quite simple.
You can tell an atheist by the fact that HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN GOD.
That is the *only* thing that atheists have in common.

I don't, for example, claim that you can tell a Christian by the fact that they are all sanctimonious twits. Try not to prove me wrong.

No one is a stereotype. Atheists can only be identified by the one belief that defines them as atheists, a lack of belief in deities.

If I answer with sarcasm, it's usually because I'm trying to ruffle your feathers, not that I'm a bitter person.

So you are saying that the only Christian "hot heads" aren't really Christians but posers, but all atheists are hurtful & sarcastic?

Shall I forward all of my hate email (from the "Christians") to you? Maybe then, you will see the "truth"
