why do people say that its a fake. why do people take God as a joke, when he is going to judge them on judgement day? its sad that america is considered a christian country, when its not even close. whats wrong with america turning gay????? its just not right. the Bible says that being gay is not right, its a sin. and from my point of view, it IS not right!!! gay, lesbian; its just not right. what, people have nothing to do, than to turn gay and lesbian? aMERICA is falling FAST!!! and the new dollar coin without the "In God We Trust" lettering. whats wrong with 21st century???? THE BIBLE IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember a few years ago when JPII died and the cardinals were in the conclave voting for a new one.

Who was invited? Were all the Cardinals in the conclave, or just specific ones? If it is only specific ones, who chooses and how?

I just got back from the grocery store. I bought a bunch of red bananas for a change. I broke one off of the bunch and noticed that it did not feel right in my hand. I looked at it and was horrified to realize that it only had four sides, not five! This totally contradicts Kirk Cameron "atheist nightmare" banana video! Is this the work of the devil?

Possible?
Ever had this experience or known of some people who connected at such a traumatic moment?

I was able to confirm this "connection" btwn a wife on the West Coast who "felt" her hubby's passing the instant it ocurred - received War Departments confirmation soon afterward. The hour at her home MATCHED the hour of the event that took his life (war situation).

What is your spin on this?
Is this an example of SOUL MATES ?

Years ago I converted to Mormonism because I thought that there might be something to it. After seeing what it's about, I realized I need to leave it. The problem was that I was already married to another member and we had a daughter. So I ended up loosing my marriage to someone that I really loved and a daughter that I really love and miss. I've seen both sides of Mormonism. So, for all it's worth, it's a sham.

They get you to start believing, then they start trying to get you to spend more time doing church stuff. Then, later, you start wondering what happened to your life.

That's what happened to me. I lost my wife and my daughter to this thing.

My question is are Mormons just to scarred to realize the truth, that the LDS Chruch is a cult?

There are actually people on this planet that believe diseases are not caused by Eve eating an apple. Really.

Those people wondered if God even actually had a role in the existence of diseases and wondered if they could do something to cure the disease.

So, they invented a cure. Or became a surgeon.

Curing a disease can only be done by first denying God's so called plan (or simply not believing in a God of course). Or denying that God has a role in creating diseases. Or denying that sin has anything to do with the existence of diseases. Yet, I always see people thanking God for a healed spouse or child or whatever.

Shouldn't we be thanking the denial of God instead?

The bible tells us that God is All "Knowing", All "Loving" and All "Forgiving", but yet people still want to believe that God is an angry and hateful Being that does not forgive people, sends people to Hell, curses people with illnesses and deformaties (sp?).
This contradicts one another. You can't have an All "Forgiving" God that sends people to Hell. Forgiveness is forgiveness. Just like you can't have an All "Loving" God that hates gay people. Love is love.

If it is well known that the Bible was edited, and it was well known that people blamed earthquakes and other natural disasters on God before they knew any better, then why do so many people still believe that God is so angry and hateful?

Any thoughts?

The record gives an account of the two great civilizations. One came from Jerusalem in 600 B.C., and afterward separated into two nations, known as the Nephites and the Lamanites. The other came much earlier when the Lord confounded the tongues at the Tower of Babel. This group is known as the Jaredites. After thousands of years, all were destroyed except the Lamanites, and they are the principal ancestors of the American Indians.”

Maybe three minutes ago there was a question that asked 'how one could rid the world of religions' and many of the answers suggested that those of religion are uneducated.

WHAT??????

Do you think that we, religious people, sit in a corner all day and read from our Bibles, and Korans. I have spent my whole life hearing about the evolution theory and the big bang as it is required by the education system that I understand it aswell as understand why others my think that it is probable. We, religious people, live in this world just like you do and draw from it our own conclusions as to whether or not being religious is worth our time. Just because we choose that it is, does that makes us uneducated? What more can anyone draw to our attention to increase our awareness that has not already been thrown in our face, especially to those of this generation who live in an atheist society.

Much of Jesus’ message was lost on the religious authorities of his day because it was not what they expected. Consider in what unexpected ways is Jesus coming to you this Advent.
