Yes and no. Is it a real text that is mass-produced? Yes. Does it say real things? Probably not. There are several books in the Bible. A Catholic Bible is different from a non-denominational Bible and so on. In every Bible there has been books which have been omitted. Who omitted these books? Humans with free will have decided what makes up the Bible. Another reason to be skeptical of the Bible is that it was written long after the facts, and written of course, by humans. Third is that sometimes it is literal, other times it is metaphorical. Continuing on, unless you are knowledgable about the languages it was originally written in, and the meanings of the words at the time it was written, you will have to trust translators who sometimes word things to suit their own preconceived notions. I'd go on, but you get the picture.

It's hard to answer this question because you are going to get mixed results of people swearing yes it is and people swearing no it isn't.
The problem I'm having is I believe maybe only 25% of the Bible is real only because it has been translated so many times over and over and people are starting to make it into their own words which can mess with the whole message in general.
And the next question is what religion are you talking about? There are many diffrent types of Bibles so you should of been a little more spacific on the question.

Jesus was a real person.
People have written books much later after his death that are in the Christian Bible. Catholics have books all other Christians sects don't in their bible. Catholics chose what is heretic and what is not.
I can say at least Jesus being an observant Jew that what his real teachings were and what people portray them to be today could differ. I have no way of proving that it is possible.

It's a real book but it's fictional and compiled from a whole bunch of carefully selected and edited writings by many different authors along with some more recent faked additions. Translated and interpreted to suit the position and bias of those who have commissioned the work. Almost all the writings are falsely attributed to saints as the actual identities of the writers is unknown.
It's a bit of a dogs dinner rather than the word of God to be honest.

It's true that everyone seems to have a different opinion. and even if someone thinks he has a thing figured out, he often finds that there is at least one other factor that he didn't consider. But there is someone who does not have such a limitation. who might that be? Yes, the creator of the universe.'
'That is why Jesus Christ said to him: "Your word is truth." (John 17:17) That truth is in the Bible. (2Tim. 3:16,17)' 'God does not want us to grope in ignorance; he has said that his will is for us to come to an accurate knowledge of truth. (1Tim. 2:3,4) In a thoroughly satisfying manner the bible answers questions.

In this age we live, it is considered the most modern of all times... Do you Agree? The Word of God is Thousands of years old... There is NO where in the Bible that contradicts it's self... It is Perfectly Written... The original manuscript is flawless.. And many many Individuals had their part in it... In society today, we have not the Imagination to even write something so spectacular... Now what do you think???? Truly Think about what i am saying here...

depends on how you look at it, but it's not historically reliable.
first off: when the jews travelled to palestine from mesopotamia they made their living through cattle and the maini god was el the bull. when they came to palestine it was more suited to sheep, which was the animal for the god yawheh. when king josiah came to power he united the tribes under a yawheh banner. the old testament is just a battle for power between the two factions and the messiah story was really about a leader to free them from roman rule. messiah just means annointed. all jewish kings were messiahs and even cyrus the great was called messiah in the bible. the messiah story was created when they were under babylon rule and was revived when the romans came.
