Do you mean the part where God gives priests instructions on how to perform abortions, for example? No, most Christians haven't READ the entire Bible, and have NO idea what is REALLY in there.

Yes,

The Bible does not agree with the modern view that there are many acceptable ways to worship god. Ephesians 4:5 says there is "one Lord, one faith." Jesus stated: "Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it....Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will."

Repeatedly the Scriptures refer to the body of true Christian teachings as "the truth," and Christianity is spoken of as "the way of the truth." (1 Tim. 3:15; 2 John 1; 2 Peter 2:2)

Because Jehovah's Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures o the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God's Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth. Their position is not egotistical but demonstrates their confidence that the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one's religion. They are not self-centered but are eager to share their beliefs with others.

Some know more than others... depends on how much God wants them to know. Those not open to the leading of God through The Holy Spirit know nothing of The Truth of The Bible.

That depends on what you mean by 'the truth about the bible'. I believe that every word of the bible is the word of God and a gift from God. I do spend time reading it frequently, not as frequently as I should, and I think about the book. There are portions that are clearly allegorical in meaning. I don't think Jesus wanted Christians to chop off their hands or feet or pluck out their eyes. I do think he wanted us to think about what was preventing us from doing good and being moral, upright people and consider removing that from our lives. I don't understand all of the bible, but I do try and I do try to live my life in accordance with the word of God. If that means you think I don't know the truth, then so be it.

People don't really know what you are asking.
Most people rely on the bible and that is called faith.
There are real scriptures written on ancient papyrus. There is real archaeological evidence of the events of the bible. And the Romans kept records and census that verify the history of people in the bible.
The problem is that the Vatican keeps it locked up.
The Bible, as we know it. was approved by a bunch of guys, three hundred years after the life of Christ.

i think that most of the times people believe in a religion because of their regional tradition, so they don't mind about bible or other books, they just believe everything the priest says, like a law. but as soon as you open your eyes, if you have a little bit of conscience you realize you have to think on your own mind. i became atheist because i don't believe in what the bible says and that's what matter is christianism bible, not the priest or the tradition
