I'm not saying I believe in God, nor am I saying I don't believe in these theories. However I think you should believe in these theories because they don't disprove God. There is no evidence against evolution yet you don't believe it because you think it disproves God when it doesn't. How do you know God didn't make evolution happen? Or start the universe with a big bang? How do you know he didn't make living things from Abiogenesis?

I just want to know how these theories disprove God?

I think its a disgrace. This is a christian country and thus other religions should follow customs here or at least respect the christmas period for what it is and has been for centuries.

I hardly think many other countries would "adopt" other religions or embrace and alter their own would they?

Just another typical example of the christians taking a bashing

I don't really care, I don't believe in 'god' anyway, so I don't believe in Original Sin, unless you mean the INXS song, that's good.

My Sunday school teacher told me that when christianity first started, the Pagans would kill and torture the Christians. Is that true?

Im having a debate with someone at the moment. They say that Jesus only churches use the nameof Jesus to baptise, pray etc rather than all three (father son, holy spirit)

Is there any scriptural backing to explain why they may do this?

In order to believe in God, the "one" you believe in must be "God". That should be simple enough.

I excluded Muslims from the above, because they believe all 3 books, and we don't. So, since we all believe the Quran is not divinely inspired, and the Jews believe the Quran and New Testament is not divinely inspired, do you think there is some guy writing another "divinely inspired" book somewhere right now?

Do you think people would be open to following the new book?

1) Will he pay our bills?

2) Will he help us get better grades in school?

3) Look at all the ungodliness, injustice, disease, and BS in our world

4)Our society has no problem being shallow, ruthless, doing frivolous things, going to all the music concerts, and movies, yadda yadda, sex,

and at the end of the day, these people want to believe in God and worship God?

How's "God" going to take care of your medical bills, career interests, teach you common sense and other things about life?

Churches operate as business organizations as well.

Basically the way I see it, believing in God, especially in this day and age seems almost to be a setback, because it interferes with your abilities to adapt and get used to society, in order to survive.

Believing in God, may soften you, and teach you mantras which are out of sync with modern society therefore crippling you.

The people who preach God most, seem to be weird types. social crutch anyone!?!?

Please. Any advice?

If you accept Jesus as the Messiah who came to pay for your sins then why you don't follow His teachings?

If you don't accept Him as so then why is it in the Koran?

Give me a star if you think it is interesting

I have been called stupid by christians time and time over. I compare myself to a goat who walks around the place and walk into wall. I use philosophical ploys and beat around the bush. I have been called a demon worshipper. I reject the Christian andJewish God, and believe in a principle of a Moral Absolute.

Am I going to hell? I have no aspirations in life anymore so going there does not matter. Peoples god may not put with my philosophical ploys.

Can you kindly give reasons as well?

Am I?
