If we truly descended from Adam and Eve (not Adam and Steve), and they were not punished or banned from the Garden, then women would be free of labor pains in childbirth, and the entire human race would not have to bust their nuts to earn their keep. Moreover, there would be no need for the Messiah to come and redeem us of our sins.
For God to do what he did do in punishing them, he did with a tough love. Even though they had a choice, they chose to satisfy the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Eve saw that it was pleasant to the eye, and that she could obtain the knowledge of good and evil, and that she could be like God. Adam was given the command, but Eve was the one who was decieved. Adam loved his wife more than God and committed sin in the process. Thus, the punishment was seperation from God because God is absolute holy and pure.
Read your Bible dude!

God did punish them... they were sent out of the Garden. Not only that but Eve was given pain in childbirth and Adam was made to toil in the fields for the rest of their lives. This compared to what they were used to in the Garden of Eden was punishment enough. You should read Genesis (the 1st book in the Bible).

I'm not sure if that is a question. Are you asking "Did God punish them 'in the garden'?"
If so the answer is he didn't punish them "in the garden" because the first time they sinned he expelled them to "outside the garden".
That is to say that before they sinned there was no reason for punishment. Once they did sin they were no longer "in the garden".
Since they were "in the garden" when he banished them you might say he punished them "in the garden" but since the punishment was banishment you could also say he "punished them outside the garden".

I think it was probably punishment enough to be cut off from the presence of God. That must have been a horrible experience, I can't imagine. It would be like being in heaven for a long time and in a moment being back on earth, in all the sin. He put clothing on them because He loved them and wanted to take care of them. Also for their own good, He moved them out of the garden to keep them away from the tree of life. He did not want them living forever in sin.

Daniell, Adam and Eve knew full well what the consequences of their actions would be and that those consequences would be bad because God explained that to them prior . So they would not have had to had eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to have acquired that knowledge.

gen 6-24 [6] when God went to the garden adam and Eve hid because they had eaten from the tree of life and knew they were naked.
[7]Now their eyes were open and they were ashamed of their naked state and sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
[10]God said he had called them why did they not come out? Adam said they were naked . Then God ask if they had eaten from the tree that he commanded you not to eat from ?Adam blamed Eve for giving it to him he knew it was wrong, Eve said she was decieved by the serpent.
[Satan who now was the father of the lie].
Neither asked forgiveness or showed a repentant spirit to god for their sin of disobedience.
[15] God gave the 1st phrophecy to the serpent [Satan]
[16]God then told Eve she would have increased pain in her pregencies;and with birth pangs you will bring forth children and your craving will be for your husband and he will dominate you.
[17] To adam because you ate from the tree, cursed is the ground on your account. In pain you will eat it's produce all the days of your life.
[18] thornes and thistles will grow for you and you will eat the vegatation of the field.
[19] he told Adam he would by the sweat of your face eat bread until you return to the dust from where you come.
[22]God said that they now were like one of us knowing right from wrong no longer innocent ,and he may not take fruit to eat to live and live to time indefinate.
[He gave them there sentence and they were still in the garden.]
[24]With that he drove them out of the garden to make their own way till they died.

They received the punishment God had promised to them: that, "...dying they would die" -- and more. But then God made another promise; of Someone that would come and pay the Ultimate Price for Sin so that those whom repented (and, believe you me, Adam and Eve repented for the rest of their lives) might have Everlasting Life.
God bless.

You are absolutely right! ALLAH has always loved HIS creation and always done what is in their best interest. Fact is that when ALLAH was creating PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) HE announced to the angels that, " I am creating my viceroy on earth". Hence this whole presentation that the gesture of sending PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) to earth by itself was a punishment is wrong. The above statement of ALLAH tells us that PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) was always meant to be on earth, he(p.b.u.h) was made for this planet but by sending HIM as if they(p.b.u.t) were being expelled out of heaven, right after the incident of eating the forbidden fruit, ALLAH wanted them(p.b.u.t) to remember this incident as a lesson and follow it even in their(p.b.u.t) life on earth. Life on earth was going to involve hardships. Hence throughout their life on earth, they(p.b.u.t) would remember that it was because of listening to SATAN that they disobeyed ALLAH and got expelled from the happy state they were in.
