Wouldn't they have better things to do than to bash things that don't exist anyway? I'm just curious because things I don't believe in I try to stay away from.

I'm not a Christian and have never been a regular church goer. I have watched quite a bit of evangelical tv. I think there are some very genuine evangelists, but I am equally convinced that there are a small percent of preachers who are doing it just for the money and have no real faith of their own. But, does this make a difference to the people that come to their churches?

Would it offend you to see a fictional movie where an Atheist government controls everyone and outlaws faith, where the children team up with angels to destroy the government and bring back faith?

I see Catholics are usually respectful but Protestants and Born agains act like a bunch of hooligans. Why is that so?

I thought Pope was your god's direct agent and your leader but I've seen lots of websites which mock Pope and insult him as if he was like any other human being.

I don't agree with Pope but I have sympathy for the old man.

The twelve days of Christmas are not the twelve days before Christmas, but are instead the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25 until January 5), which is when the three Wise Men or Magi arrived on the scene.

In some families, it was and still is traditional to give Christmas gifts for each of those twelve days, much as gifts are given to children on each of the days of Hanukkah. Some have suggested that the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is actually a song of instruction with hidden meanings to the basic teachings of the Faith. The "true love" mentioned in the song is not an earthly suitor, but refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every baptized person who is part of the Christian Faith

Has anyone ever been asked to do something on the job that they could not agree with religiously or morally? An example might be a pharmist who disagreed with the morning after pill being told to hand it to the custmore or loose their job. I know a person who quite a job at a magizine wearhouse because the wearhouse started distrubuting Playboy and other such magazines. Another example might be that a person has trouble with work because they couldn't get off to go to church. I have been lucky and not really had to deal with such problems but I know they come up. I just wondered what people have faced and how you've handled them.

I am seriously considering conversion to Judism. I have visited a synagogue and have spoken to a rabbi about it. He said he is going to Israel and to call him when he returns in a month (maybe this is to test my sincerity?) anyway I have taken it upon myself to memorize prayers, eat kosher and light a menorah since this is the Channukah season. I also study the Talmud and try to gain an understanding of Jewish traditions. Since I haven't officially began to convert I find this faith wonderful and interesting. But is it wrong to start early? I DO intend to convert but is it okay for a non-Jew to practice?

Are you going to see it? My sons and I have discussed it and both my 13 and my 14 year old have decided they have no interest in any movie about killing God and representing Him or our Faith as evil. What are your thoughts?
