Heres your chance to prove to me and other atheists that God exists. But don't send me bible verses and say things such as look around you, bible and looking around you is not proof nor is believing. If you think otherwise then it just shows your intelligence. Send me links to websites that proves he exists any other stuff.

I will reply in another question on things you've sent.

Begin!

you may go to heaven when you die, but will you ever achieve Nirvana?

The only evidence to support this theory, of course, is the "theory" of evolution itself, which many scientists accept as "fact" today, despite the insurmountable obstacles to such a theory, particularly the lack of any truly "intermediate" or "transitional" species in the fossil record. Over one hundred years after Darwin, and the geological record is still "missing links" -- in fact, paleontologists have found virtually no true, provable intermediate links in the fossil record. If evolution were true, there should be scores of thousands of such "links" -- they should be plentiful and abundant. They simply don't exist! Other disproofs to evolutionary theory, of course, is the incredible complexity of life itself. Evolution has found itself virtually speechless in the face of such features as the human eye, or the eyes of birds of prey, the ear, the sense of touch, taste, smell, and the fantastic complexity of the "cell" itself. (Dr. William F. Daknenbring)

Is a theory a fact?

- I want to have a career (I want to work for a humanitarian organisation helping orphans and HIV victims)
- I want to adopt children from a poor country
- I want to travel extensively
- I expect my husband to go on parental leave after I did the same once we have children. I don't see the point of having kids if you don't want to take care of them.
- I also won't do more than 50% of the housework.

I'm not a hardcore feminist, but I want to enjoy my life and being a submissive housewife is not my definition of fun. I was told there wasn't a single christian man out there who would want that kind of life, true?

I've seen people get their virtual knickers in a pinch over some bawdy comments made here and there and would love to hear what you think.

I think God loves a sense of humor.

and where is the original, the 1st?

if none of you know, then how do you know any of it is true?
all it takes is fear, darkness, peer pressure, pain, and you can be made to believe anything and it spreads from there. i think the ones who knew of this power invented the devil and the rest so when it happened again to others, the will say "that's the devil's work"

read someones answer talking about morals....someone said that because the act of homosexuality for example does not serve His (meaning God of course) purpose. The purpose of sex is so that we can produce new life.Man has perverted that purpose by having sex outside marriage. ...

Ok so even if your married and have sex for pleasure is that still immoral? If the purpose is to produce new life?
I can't think of anyone who DOESN'T have sex for pleasure...except maybe The Duggers who have 17 children..

Gimmie your answers :)

Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus was not God, but an angel.
True Christians believe Jesus was God.

Jesus is Almighty God manifest in the flesh.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:1-3

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Colossians 1:15-17

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. 1 Timothy 3:16

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7

questions with unpopular points of view get deleted. Sometimes it is because a person is uncomfortable reading a certain point of view, and he can get you deleted by saying "It's not a question (or an answer)" which is usually nonsense. There are many ways to pose a question or phrase an answer.
The point is that a subject that is rightfully tolerated in Yahoo and other search engines, should not be deleted when it appears under Yahoo answers.
This is inconsistent policy by Yahoo where they do not allow you to delete from their search engine, but do allow you to get just about anything deleted from Yahoo Answers
How many of you are fair enough to agree that a policy of tolerance should be applied across the board?.
Remember: You may be a non-racist or a racist, a religious believer or an atheist, an abortionist or a non-abortionist and have your point of view deleted. WE ALL SUFFER if Yahoo has an inconsistent policy!

I go to a lot of effort to put a display up each year. Not only do I like to put it up.... I Iove the fact that people stop and go out of their way to see the house and lawn all done up.
Why then, would someone go out of their way to steal a 7 foot inflatable santa that was deflated . at 3am in the morning? not just stealing it.....but making it unusable in the process...leaving bare wires after they just ripped it from where it lay.
It is Christmas and I do this for everyone to get enjoyment out of. I I was a scrooge... I'd do it in my own backyard so only family can see.
Why would, or who would do this?

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.Titus 2:11-15

When ever someone tells me Jesus is coming, I always think "So is Ragnarok and it's way scarier" and laugh to myself. I know a lot of paths have "something" that is coming. Two part question. Am I the only one who does this (I say it a lot too hehe) and what is your paths "second coming" if you have one?
