Asalaam-u-Aleikum,
Allah also takes note of our own efforts towards securing a better life. He certainly helpes his deserving 'bande'.
The real Momeen is the one, who submits to each decree of Allah with gratitude . Even if I'm facing Death, I shall say--'Alhum du lillah. '

When our wishes or desires coincide with whatever Santa Claus decides for us we call that as HAPPINESS but when this coincidence does not happen we become sad so can we conclude that the secret towards HAPPINESS lies in being content and satisfied with whatever Santa Claus decides for us? Please give your opinions?

Yes,when we carry God's wish alone we feel bliss, true. But how do we know it ( or what ) is God's wish? So, first experience Allah within yourself, make that inner being speak to you with its own language understandable to you and then, only then be guided by It.Every day spend some time to go beyond your thoughts and feelings, forget everything except to focus on experiencing yourself without usual notions. In that silence, when you let yourself go without expecting anything, then,Allah you will hear and his wish guide you.

Wow, allah even fools you into believing you're happy at times! Man he's good! I'm sorry to here that, I only wish you knew the constant joy of having Jesus in your heart! I remember when satan had me fooled into thinking I was "happy" there's no comparison!

I disagree with you completely. You are saying that if somone doesn't have anything in life, they should be complacent under the premise that it is God's wish??? I believe that God helps those who try and help themselves. If mankind started to adopt that mentality and leave everything to God, we would still be in the dark ages.

James 1:2-4.......Consider it all joy, my brothers, when YOU meet with various trials, knowing as YOU do that this tested quality of YOUR faith works out endurance. Â But let endurance have its work complete, that YOU may be complete and sound in all respects, not lacking in anything.

I saw something like that after the Indonesian tsunami:
A man had just buried his wife and all his children, but said,
(not exact words, but close) "I don't understand it, but it must be God's will. so it must be right."
But he should be happy?
No, a god who wills that is not promoting happiness for those who accept "Inshallah".

You must always be happy with what God decides for you, in every religion. You must accept it.
