I don't really care, I don't believe in 'god' anyway, so I don't believe in Original Sin, unless you mean the INXS song, that's good.

Because i wanted to see what people think. If noone can provide me with a valid answer then my premise is true.
If jesus, as you say all the time, 'saved us from sin' then 'original sin' is negated, else you are not really 'saved from sin'

Yeshua is the man you call 'Jesus' real name. Jesus is the anglicised form of the Greek Iesus, which is the greek form of the hebrew Yeshua.
Jesus was't from yankee doodle dandy land you know (AKA america), he didn't speak Yankee doodle dandy landese (also known as bastardised-english)

The answer is yes and no both. All the original sin did to any one was to place Adam and Eve out of the presence of God. This allowed them to have children and experience good and bad, right from wrong. All the garden of Eden had was good and right within it. The L.D.S. Church believe that men will be punished for their own sin's not Adams and Eves transgression. Thus, if a child under the age of accountability dies they go back to that loving father who sent them to this earth in the first place. Never needing the ordnance's and grace of the savior in the first place. However those who die at such a young age while receiving a body are then denied the opportunity to grow and learn all the lessons God wishes all his children to have. I feel that he has a plan yet for those children to grow and learn, one that we as yet do not know much about. However due to Adam and Eve we are able to come to earth and receive a body grow and learn, with out the transgression we would never have been born but Adam and Eve would have lived forever in the garden with out having children or knowing the difference between right and wrong good and bad happiness and sorrow. So while we live in a fallen world due to their transgression, we do so only because they did eat of the tree of knowledge.

Even if you don't care, and you don't believe in God, I'll treat your question seriously, because I happen to think that belief in God is a gradual thing, not usually a 'blinding light' instant job.
Original sin isn't a biblical idea, it is a Catholic doctrine to make sure no-one gets away from their guilt-driven system. Biblically speaking, we are not born with any sin, we are born innocent. We are however, born spiritually dead which is the consequence of the sins of our early ancestors.
Yeshua was and still is our Creator wrapped in a human body. He came here to offer us spiritual life and to clear away the sins we commit in our lives by offering himself as a sacrifice, which was done to honour and satisfy the Old Covenant he made with Moshe (Moses) and the nation of Isra'el. This is the clearest possible demonstration by our God that he loves us and has come to rescue us. His resurrection demonstrated his power and his intentions for us.
In straightforward language, Yeshua is still accessible in prayer and is ready to forgive those who demonstrate that they want to turn away from their worldly approach to life. At some point of his choosing, he will give this new spiritual life to anyone who follows his teaching. The whole thing is a journey, don't expect everything on day one - there is no such thing as 'instant' Christianity or progress without difficulties.
I hope this helps. All the best,
Steven.

I'm not Christian, but I would say that's exactly the point.

Jesus/Yeshuah/Isa offered redemption from sin, but only to people who accepted Him as their Savior. If you didn't accept Him, you didn't get the redemption.

Some Christian groups may interpret it slightly differently, but I was raised Congregationalist then my parents switched to Lutheran and that's the way I understand it.

I don't think all sects of Christianity interpret that the same way, though.

I liked INXS but I always confused them with XTC. Weren't INXS the ones who also called themselves "Dukes of the Stratosphere?" I never could keep it straight; I'm more of a Reggae fan.

It doesn't negate it, what the bible says is that because of Adams sin many died and fell out of favour with God. But because of Jesus sacrifice sin is swallowed up and salvation was open to all who believe. It doesn't negate the original sin it swallows it up. Compared to what Jesus did on the cross the original sin means nothing to the believer.

Theres no original sin, saying that a baby is responsible for Adam and Eve's sin is blasphemy.

But of course you don't really care, get a life, if you're so sure about your not believing then what are you doing here asking religious questions?

Look, the ideology of Christianity is but weak. If you are really looking for challenge, ask your questions in relevance to either Judaism or Islam. You will start believing in God.

No man is responsible for the sin of another man, and even God is not responsible for the sins of men.

Moreover, man is going through a trial in this world, so there has to be a result for either his success or failure.

The core idea is ridiculous and is borrowed from pagan Rome who believed in having baby-gods, like Cupid, god of love.
