All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus died for our sins, he took the punishment for us, so that we can be reconciled to God. With out accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior you will be convicted guilty on judgment day and be thrown into hell forever separated from God and all that is good. None of us on our own can ever be 'good' enough.

His life and death in the flesh was Gods will so that we could have a way of eternal salvation. Jesus gave His life so that we may live, for we do not deserve to see the glory of God by our own doings. Only through Him are we worthy to enter His kingdom.

To start a large, global franchise like 21 MacDonalds...oops...missions like which was done in the state of California.
Jesus, however, lived in Israel and had to start the 21 Temples there.
Jesus had to grow where he was planted.

Umm if I remember correctly he was sent to Earth so he could die.. take on all of the World's sins... and then, through his death get rid of them so we get God's forgiveness & can get into Heaven. That's the Christian view, I'm sure there are many other interpretations. Maybe he was just part of one big story to show people how we should live our lives? Or he could have just been some random man who caused trouble a while back? I guess we'll never know..
