Im not trying to be disrespectful, but another thing I dont understand is that if it goes against your religion or something, then just dont see the movies or read the books. Dont try and ruin it for everyone else. And if you dont wont your kids to see or read them then dont let them, but you cant really tell other parents what to do. Its there choice. and again im not trying to be disrespectful.

I believe in God and I believe that he does answer prayers, I just don't understand why he doesn't answer my prayers. I have been praying for months now and don't seem to get an answer. I have faith that god will answer my prayers. Has anyone had their prayers answered? How do you pray? Is there a certain way to pray to god? I am praying that my marriage will be saved. My children pray every night as well. Just want to get other peoples thoughts on praying. When do you know that you have your answer to your pray? How do you know?

Atheist here...

I doubt it will be the cemetery because isn't that more of a religious thing, than that of an Atheist one?

There's probably a really simple answer to this and I'm just not thinking right...

Or do you think life, or luck, the universe, god, fate, or whatever you believe in, gives you several people to choose from all of which you're equally compatible with, and his/her and your maturity, circumstances, luck, etc, determine THE ONE you end/ended up with?

Stalin was aspiring to be a priest;so he must have been influenced by Christ? What went wrong? He is probably more despised than Judas. I have often wondered about someone like him losing their faith to have turned against Christ.Your comments?

In the old testament the sons of the gods or god had children with the women of earth or man. In the new testament it says god gave his only begotten son for mans sins, if one is false which one? If one is false dosn't that make both suspect?

Ok recently I've turned life around. Im in college and I was clubbin, drinking and doing things I shouldn't have been doing. Now I've put a lot of that behind me. The thing is that was pretty much my weekends, doing dumb -ish like clubbin all the time, and most of my friends, as much as it hurts to say, I feel I've outgrown some of them. Now I read the bible, play ball, go to school, and just handg out with friends around the campus. Now what I want to know is what do the people who have given their life to God do with a lot of their time. Honestly I don't see a lot of people around who share the passion I have for God, and I aint exactly trying to surround myself with no bums. So myquestion is... what do you all do cuz I'd like to meet some people share that passion?

Anyways, the other day I asked about, how many saints had taken a vow of perpetual virginity at ages as young as four-six. Many Catholics answered that a child at the age of four can comprehend what ones virginity is and make a vow to keep it forever, yet somehow the child can't comprehend what sin is?
Why is that?

(I'm just trying to compare the two situations to each other, as I believe a child cannot understand the concept of sin or virginity at that age, yet some Catholics believe they can.)

Act 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Act 2:9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
Act 2:10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
Act 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

I remember Tyr, Grambane asking this once before, but now I can't find the question. So I'm asking for some bands/singers that do Heathen music. It can be Folk all the way to Death Metal type music (I listen to anything but Disco - that crap makes me scream). =) Preferrably along the lines of the religion itself... songs of Odin, Thor, etc... Thanks.
