If Mary was a Jew, then she didn't believe in Original Sin. If Jesus was a Jew, neither did he. Judaism doesn't even have such a concept, never has. So neither would have believed in it, in fact they wouldn't have ever heard of it even.
It's a twisted Christian misinterpretation of the story in Genesis with Adam and Eve, probably invented on purpose in order to teach Church followers that they are hopelessly born sinful and the only way out of it is to come to the Church (along with their money, property, etc.).
There has never existed the concept of Original Sin in Judaism. Judaism teaches that all people are born pure, with clean souls, and it is what we do after we are born that determines whether we blemish our souls or not. If we do, then we cleanse them after death in an extremely painful process, and then are reborn (reincarnation).
Christianity has none of that as it rejected it and invented the original sin thing as a control over its followers, apparently.
So if Mary and Jesus were Jews, they wouldn't have had any concept of Original Sin, as Judaism has never had that, nor had the Church invented it yet at that time, that invention didn't happen until a few hundred years later.
Hope that helps you with your question a bit.
EDIT: Thumbs down doesn't change the fact that Judaism does not have a concept of Original Sin. So where did Christianity get it? The Church fathers INVENTED that twisted, sick meaning. Telling followers they are born filthy, worthless, and cannot do anything about it is an abomination and a slap in the face to God who made everyone's souls clean and pure.

This is a good question. It is not so stupid when you learn what the Paschal Lamb must be and accept the fact that God and sin cannot dwell together.
St. Mary was saved before Jesus was born by Gods grace and sanctified as the pure vessel to bear the incarnate God allowing Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice required.
The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception does not deny the fact that the blessed mother of God needed a savior, it simply states that she was saved before Christs conception by God's grace in preparation of her obedience to God.
In Christ
Fr. Joseph
Silver,
You are incorrect the Scriptures tell us that St. John the Baptist was also full of God's grace just as the blessed mother.

Catholics have this doctrine called 'the immaculate conception". Most non-Catholics think this speaks to the conception of Jesus. But Catholics really mean the conception of Mary. There is no scriptural support for this belief. Actually it is heresy. If Mary was conceived outside of sin-she would be deity. One of her parents would have to be God.
This is a false doctrine that the Catholics can not support with documentation.

People are not born with the guilt of inherited sin!
Notice Ezekiel 18:20:
"The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."

Mary was just an average, ordinary girl but shall be remembered as Blessed before all women because God chose her to bring Him into the world. She was indeed born with original sin, Jesus' is her redeemer and savior too, she even said so.
Luke 1
6And Mary said:
"My soul glorifies the Lord
47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
49for the Mighty One has done great things for me—
holy is his name.

There is no such thing as original sin. Adam and Eve were tricked by Satan in disobeying the God's command for not eating from a tree. Soonafter they realized theor mistake they were ashamed of their guilt and repented God for forgiveness. God forgave them and the sin was washed off. None of Adam and Even's children were born in sin.
The conce[t that every one is born in sin is created by Christians to promot conversion of all mankind as Christians by putting a guilt on every human based on lie that they are born on sin and only way they can get the sin washed is accepting Jesus as God, Son of God what ever.
A religion base on lie has lived many centuries but Christians were not extremely devoted to their religion exceptthose who were active in religious work. Then many revolted against Catholicism, and now Protestants are divided into God knows how many sects. Lots of Christians either do not believe that all teachings of Christianity are true or have abondoned the religion and religious practices all together and have become atheists. Some are leaving the religion and converting as Muslims, Budhists, Hindus, Jews and what eve else God knows best. What are the reasons of their revolt against Christianity, please some one explain it here honestly.
According to God's statement in Quran no one is born in sin. Every child is purey clean and free from sin when he/she is born. This is truth and study of any religion will tell you this.
May God guide us all.

Mary had original sin, she was chosen by God for a purpose, just like the rest of us have a purpose on earth. She needed Jesus salvatiion just as much as the rest of us.

Yeh it's a completely bogus theory. Mary herself acknowledge she needed a Savior (Luke 1:47)
Catholicism has made Mary into a goddess whom they worship. Catholicism is largely an heretical cult in contrast to Biblical Christiantity.

Don't you know you've got original sin as well as this week's sin, this day's sin and this hour's sins to deal with. That's a lot of sin Buster. Better get on your knees and pray or you're going to H-E-Double Toothpicks!
Mary was pure like me. I'm pure but there's not too many people like me. Don't try it for yourself.
