Woke up this morning from the strangest dream
I was in the biggest army the world has ever seen
We were all marching as one
Started out seeking fortune and glory
Its a short song but it's a hell of a story
When you spend lifetime trying to get your hands on the purpose of life
You know I, i been searching for an easy way
To escape this cold light of day
I been high and I been low
But I nowhere else to go
Theres nowhere else to go
And i followed orders
God knows where I've been
But i woke up alone
All my wounds were clean
I'm still here
I'm still a fool for the holy grail
oh yeah I'm a fool for the holy grail

I think everyone was born for this: Love God, love others, love yourself, be real, find something to do that makes you come alive so you don't live numb. Now the only question is, how are you going to go about the first two? There are so many ways, because we are all so different. How am I going to do it? That's what I'm trying to figure out right now :)

Well said Hope. I cant vote yet since Im not level2, but I would vote a thumbs up if i could lol.
Life is for God realization, to lift our spirit soul from the muck of material vice and to enter the eternal blissful abode of God Himself. Material life is nectar at first, but poison in the end. Spiritual life is poison at first and nectar in the end.

Purpose in life is a question that requires God otherwise the question itself is meaningless:
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell
Russell was a noted 20th century mathematician, philosopher and Nobel Laureate. He was also an atheist but he was honest enough to understand that we live a purposeless existence if we are without God.
I think God created us to want Him, to seek Him, to allow Him to reveal Himself to us and for us to enter into a relationship of love with Him. I agree with the answer, "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever". To glorify God simply means to experience God and then to rightly portray His character to others. To enjoy Him means that we find our joy in Him.
