What does it matter? I did my part. As long as God knows where my heart was when I gave the offering. -That is all that matters.
God will deal with those that misuse the funds.

My pastor sends out monthly statements by email to all church members. It says how much money was taken in, and where it all went.
And of course some of it has to be saved up to pay our taxes. In Germany, Baptist churches are not tax exempt.

You ask God where He wants you to send the money, do it and then let it go and not worry about it. Many times I have taken money to church for the offering and then He would tell me to give it to someone in the church. He knows exactly who needs it when they need it, you just have to listen to what He is telling you to do and then obey.

i trust that the Church will do the right thing. What is given to God is no longer yours nor is it your right to know where the money is spent. If we keep back what belongs to God that is our perogative. we will however have to answer to God for that. Those that misuse God's money will also answer to God so for myself i chose to let God worry about those concerns
It is Christians who feel they must give more than God demands (10%) that are conned by preachers whose intent is to line their own pockets not do the work of God...many t.v evangelists have no shame whatsoever. they are not christians they are demons. Jesus likened us to sheep..it is true in more ways than one.

Most Christians give it to their churches, and it is all recorded in their records and audited as any other organiation would do. Its the televangelists that have no accountability and people are fools in my opinion if they send their money that way.
